I am on holiday in Cornwall, [name_f]England[/name_f] with my family. Obviously, we have come across many children at the various attractions. Being a name nerd, I was interested to hear the names of all these little ones. The list below is some of the names that I heard being called that I could associate with a child. I didn’t have my notebook with me, so these are the ones I can still remember of the top of my head. I have put their ages, but I’m not good at guessing so they are just estimates. I’m also assuming all names were spelt in the conventional way.
[name_m]Leon[/name_m] (6 -7 yrs) and [name_u]Dexter[/name_u] (3 - 4 yrs)
[name_f]Leah[/name_f] (4 - 5 yrs) and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] (18 months - 2 yrs) + baby in pram (obviously didn’t hear her name because they weren’t calling her/telling her off, lol! But I wonder if it was another L name)
[name_m]Andrew[/name_m] (12 - 18 months)
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] (2 - 3 years)
[name_m]Gordon[/name_m] and [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] (looked like fraternal twins; 18 months - 2 years)
[name_u]Logan[/name_u] (12 - 18 months)
[name_u]Dylan[/name_u] (9 - 12 months)
[name_f]Briony[/name_f] (3 - 4 years) and [name_u]Finn[/name_u] (2 yrs) - little monkeys these two! Would not behave themselves on the crazy golf course, lol!
[name_m]David[/name_m] (2 - 3 years)
[name_m]Kian[/name_m] (2 yrs) + older sister; didn’t hear her name (5 yrs)
Those are the only ones that I remember and that stood out to me. I was pleasantly surprised at the standard of the names. I especially liked the sibsets of [name_m]Leon[/name_m] and [name_u]Dexter[/name_u] and [name_m]Gordon[/name_m] and [name_m]Lewis[/name_m]. What are your favourites?
