[name_f]Ada[/name_f]- [name_f]Ada[/name_f] feels very current, but still sweetly vintage. A very farm-fresh name, reminds me of gingham and lemonade. I like this a lot with [name_f]Frances[/name_f] and [name_u]Jude[/name_u], though I’d be somewhat less likely to pick it for my own child.
[name_f]Millie[/name_f]- I don’t love [name_f]Millie[/name_f] as a standalone name. It feels very nicknamey, and I immediately associate it with [name_f]Millicent[/name_f], which to me is a very homely name. The sound is cute, but the imagery is all wrong.
[name_f]Beth[/name_f]- I love [name_f]Beth[/name_f], though I do prefer it as a nickname for [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. [name_f]Beth[/name_f] is quiet and gentle and classic. Always makes me think of sweet [name_f]Beth[/name_f] [name_u]March[/name_u].
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]- [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] has been growing on me lately. I think she is funky and spunky and cool. I like that it has such a quirky sound and spelling, but still a classic history. [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] would probably be my top pick from this list for my own baby, but I’m not sure I love her as a sibling to [name_f]Frances[/name_f].
[name_f]Bonnie[/name_f]- Some people on NB really don’t like [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f], but I can’t see why! She is so fun and unexpected on a little one today. To me, a little girl named [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] is always smiling. I really like her in your sibset, too.
[name_u]Valentine[/name_u] (val-in-teen)- Definitely my least favorite option. [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] already feels frilly and honestly a bit pretentious to me, and adding the “een” sound just accentuates that.
[name_f]Cecily[/name_f]- I love [name_f]Cecily[/name_f]! Of course I immediately think of The Importance of Being [name_m]Earnest[/name_m]. [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] is another one of my favorite ideas for you. I love how she works with [name_f]Frances[/name_f] and [name_u]Jude[/name_u]. [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] has all the light girliness of [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f], but also feels quirkier and gentler. It’s a garden-y name to me, probably because of the associations with [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] Parsley and [name_f]Cicely[/name_f] [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_m]Barker[/name_m].
[name_f]Helena[/name_f]- I like [name_f]Helena[/name_f], though I vastly prefer the hel-[name_m]LAY[/name_m]-nah pronounciation to helen-ah. Sort of a big name for a little person, though (but of course she could grow into it).
Overall, I like all of them for you except for [name_f]Millie[/name_f], [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] and maybe [name_f]Helena[/name_f].
