Honest Opinions and Suggestions for my Girls list

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] Berries,
I’m looking for some brutally honest opinions on my list since some of the names on there I’m not to sure about so feel free to suggest some other options. But to avoid me saying the same things popularity doesn’t bother me and I live in Australia. Also the name [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] is one that will stay, it’s my grandmothers name.

[name_f]Isobel[/name_f]
[name_u]Eloise[/name_u]
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucia[/name_f] (loo-see-ah)
[name_f]Alice[/name_f]
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f]
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]
[name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] (ay-lee)
[name_f]Rosalia[/name_f]
[name_f]Zoe[/name_f]
[name_f]Azalea[/name_f]
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]
[name_f]Everleigh[/name_f]
[name_f]Rebecca[/name_f]
[name_f]Leila[/name_f] (I like both pronunciations)
[name_u]Harper[/name_u]
[name_f]Grace[/name_f]
[name_f]Zara[/name_f]

Thank you,
Ebony

I adore/love:

[name_f]Isobel[/name_f]
[name_u]Eloise[/name_u]
[name_f]Alice[/name_f]
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f]
[name_u]Harper[/name_u]
[name_f]Grace[/name_f]

[name_f]Isobel[/name_f]: [name_u]Love[/name_u] this name and love that it’s an honor name. I like this spelling, as well.
[name_u]Eloise[/name_u]: [name_m]Just[/name_m] not a fan of this one and I don’t know why. I like [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] and [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] fine, but just can’t get behind [name_u]Eloise[/name_u].
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f]: Cute, but sounds a little too old for me still, despite the popular children’s book/movies character. Potential nn [name_f]Tillie[/name_f] is cute, though.
[name_f]Lucia[/name_f] (loo-see-ah): I prefer the more common [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], but [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] is very pretty.
[name_f]Alice[/name_f]: I adore [name_f]Alice[/name_f]. It’s cute, feminine, simple, and classy. I also think because of [name_f]Alice[/name_f] in Wonderland, it could have some spunk to it, too.
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]: I quite like [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], though I dislike the typical nicknames for it ([name_f]Ellie[/name_f], [name_f]Elle[/name_f], [name_f]Ella[/name_f]). I really like [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] nn [name_f]Nora[/name_f], though.
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f]: For me, [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] is like [name_f]Alice[/name_f]. Cute, simple, and classy. Less spunk, though, and more sweet.
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f]: [name_u]Love[/name_u], love, love [name_f]Felicity[/name_f]!! It’s one of my top girl names. [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] to me is so pretty, vibrant, and full of life while still being feminine. And it means happiness, so there’s an awesome meaning too.
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]: I honestly find [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] to be a boring name. I’m not really sure why. [name_m]Just[/name_m] not my thing.
[name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] (ay-lee): This name is beautiful, though the pronunciation might be tough. [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t know how well known Gaelic names are in Australia. That is the one thing I find unfortunate about Gaelic names. Otherwise, I really love them. They’re beautiful.
[name_f]Rosalia[/name_f]: Not a fan of this one. [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] is pretty, but I don’t like how the middle A sound changes when you add the “ia” ending.
[name_f]Zoe[/name_f]: Super cute. One of the few “spunky” names I like.
[name_f]Azalea[/name_f]: A unique flower name. A little too unique for me, but it has a wonderful sound. The more I hear it, though, the less “out there” it sounds.
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]: I want to like this name. I really do. But I don’t. haha It lacks the elegance that many similar names have, I think.
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]: Not a fan. Makes me think of the name of a sheep for some reason. The nn [name_u]Tally[/name_u] would be super cute, though.
[name_f]Everleigh[/name_f]: Pretty, though I kind of prefer the [name_u]Everly[/name_u] spelling.
[name_f]Rebecca[/name_f]: Eh. I’m neutral on this one. I find it a bit boring, but it is way overused in my husband’s family, so that could be why.
[name_f]Leila[/name_f] (I like both pronunciations): I don’t know what other pronunciation this has other that lay-luh, so I’m not sure exactly how to respond. I think [name_f]Leila[/name_f] is a nice name, though a little lackluster.
[name_u]Harper[/name_u]: Cute, but in my head it’s more of a boy’s name. Probably because my husband’s male co-worker’s name is [name_u]Harper[/name_u].
[name_f]Grace[/name_f]: I adore [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. I know so many people say it’s too popular or too overused, but I think it is a beautiful, classic virtue name with a wonderful simplicity.
[name_f]Zara[/name_f]: Not such a fan of this one. It is the farthest from the rest of your names stylistically and seems a bit random. haha

[name_f]Isobel[/name_f] - NMS, it feels kind of boring
[name_u]Eloise[/name_u] - I like it a lot! So cute and classy
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f] - I really like nn [name_u]Mattie[/name_u] but [name_f]Tilly[/name_f] and [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] feel like grandma names to me
[name_f]Lucia[/name_f] - NMS but I do like it much more than [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]. Would you consider [name_f]Lucille[/name_f]?
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] - I find it boring and would go for [name_f]Ailis[/name_f]
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] - I like nn [name_f]Nora[/name_f] but its nms and feels kind of eh to me
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] - [name_m]Way[/name_m] too popular, what about [name_f]Amelie[/name_f], [name_f]Emilia[/name_f], [name_f]Annalie[/name_f]/[name_f]Annelie[/name_f] etc
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f] - [name_u]Love[/name_u] it, its sweet and it makes me think of flowers
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] - Cute and spunky
[name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] (ay-lee) - It feels incomplete plus there would be lots of confusion because of the spelling
[name_f]Rosalia[/name_f] - Pretty! Much better than [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]. My favorite [name_f]Rose[/name_f]- names are [name_f]Rosanna[/name_f] and Rhoswyn
[name_f]Zoe[/name_f] - Kind of boring and dated to me
[name_f]Azalea[/name_f] - Not a fan of its nicknames, and there are prettier flower names out there but its not bad
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] - [name_m]Ive[/name_m] seen it being used way too much lately so no
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] - I like its nicknames but it feels overly sweet
[name_f]Everleigh[/name_f] - Hate this spelling
[name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] - I do like it but nn [name_f]Becca[/name_f] feels like a grandma and I cant think of any other nicknames
[name_f]Leila[/name_f] - Eh, kind of boring
[name_u]Harper[/name_u] - too popular, but very pretty
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] - boring
[name_f]Zara[/name_f] - interesting! I would like to meet a [name_f]Zara[/name_f]. Have you considered [name_f]Aria[/name_f]?

[name_f]Isobel[/name_f]: I love this spelling! It’d be a sweet connection for your little one
[name_u]Eloise[/name_u]: I’m really iffy on this one. Sometimes, I think it sounds upper class and sophisticated. Other times, it is too reminiscent of the little pain in the neck ([name_u]Eloise[/name_u] at Christmastime, I think is the name of the movie I associate it with). Mostly, though, I dislike it.
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f]:I have a soft spot for this, as it was the name of my great-grandmother. Definitely old-sounding, but in a charming way. My only issue is that its obvious nickname, [name_u]Mattie[/name_u], would get mixed up in the sea of [name_f]Maddie[/name_f]'s.
[name_f]Lucia[/name_f]:I say it more like loo-chee-ah, but either way, I prefer [name_f]Lucy[/name_f].
[name_f]Alice[/name_f]:It’s nice, but I actually much prefer [name_f]Alison[/name_f]! Not sure why though, lol. I guess because [name_f]Alice[/name_f] itself reminds me of [name_f]Alice[/name_f] in Wonderland, which makes it sound really aloof, to my mind
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]: I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] it!
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f]: It’s nice, but sounds too worn to my ears.
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f]: Sweet, feisty, Irish charm. Great name.
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]: Meh. Too reminiscent of the Friends character.
[name_f]Eilidh[/name_f]: I like the pronunciation, but the spelling trips me up. Then again, it is a name I am most unfamiliar with.
[name_f]Rosalia[/name_f]: It’s a bit fussy, but nice enough.
[name_f]Zoe[/name_f]: This is one of the sweetest names ever  I like it.
[name_f]Azalea[/name_f]: This is one that is growing on me! A couple I know used it and call her [name_m]Zaley[/name_m] (rhymes with [name_u]Haley[/name_u]) and I think it is super sweet!
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]: I like it!
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]: Itself, not bad. However, it personally just brings to mind the story of the poor girl who was named [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] Does the Hula from [name_m]Hawaii[/name_m]…
[name_f]Everleigh[/name_f]: There seems to be a huge influx of kids named [name_u]Ever[/name_u], [name_f]Everleigh[/name_f], or [name_u]Everly[/name_u] and I’m not a huge fan of this. Still, I do prefer this spelling and think it mostly has a nice sound.
[name_f]Rebecca[/name_f]: I like it!
[name_f]Leila[/name_f]: I prefer either [name_f]Layla[/name_f] or [name_f]Lila[/name_f].
[name_u]Harper[/name_u]: Like it a lot!
[name_f]Grace[/name_f]: Such a sweet, wonderful name that is connected with a wonderful meaning.
[name_f]Zara[/name_f]: Very pretty

I really like [name_f]Isobel[/name_f], [name_u]Everly[/name_u] (this spelling), [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], [name_f]Felicity[/name_f], [name_f]Zara[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalia[/name_f], [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f].

[name_f]Isobel[/name_f]: I like this spelling.
[name_u]Eloise[/name_u]: It’s nice and I like it, but I don’t like it as much as a lot of others seem to.
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f]: I like it, but not the nn [name_f]Tilly[/name_f]. If I had to use a nn for it I guess I’d go with [name_f]Millie[/name_f].
[name_f]Lucia[/name_f] (loo-see-ah): I definitely prefer the Italian prn.
[name_f]Alice[/name_f]: I love this name! The association with [name_f]Alice[/name_f] in Wonderland gives me a lot of good feelings about this name.
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]: I also love this name! Not a fan of the nn [name_f]Nora[/name_f] though. I’d go with [name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], etc.
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f]: It’s okay.
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f]: I like this name, but I can’t think of a nn I would like for it. I’d be more inclined to use it in the middle spot.
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]: I like this name a lot!
[name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] (ay-lee): There would be spelling issues, but I think it’s nice.
[name_f]Rosalia[/name_f]: I prefer [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f].
[name_f]Zoe[/name_f]: Not really a fan. Like a pp said, seems kind of dated.
[name_f]Azalea[/name_f]: This is a really great nature/flower name!
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]: I’ve personally just always hated this name, but I know a lot of people love it.
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]: I love this name!
[name_f]Everleigh[/name_f]: I prefer the [name_u]Everly[/name_u] spelling.
[name_f]Rebecca[/name_f]: I don’t like it.
[name_f]Leila[/name_f] (I like both pronunciations): I’m not sure what other prn there is aside from saying it like [name_f]Layla[/name_f]? Either way, I do like it a lot.
[name_u]Harper[/name_u]: Popularity aside, I think this is a cool name.
[name_f]Grace[/name_f]: Popularity aside, I think this is a lovely name, and I like the nn options of [name_u]Gray[/name_u], [name_m]Ace[/name_m], and [name_f]Gracie[/name_f].
[name_f]Zara[/name_f]: It sounds pretty cool!

My favorites are [name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], [name_f]Felicity[/name_f], [name_f]Azalea[/name_f], [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f], and [name_f]Zara[/name_f]. I like the combos [name_f]Zara[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f], and [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] [name_f]Felicity[/name_f].

I love them all except:

[name_u]Harper[/name_u]
[name_f]Everleigh[/name_f]
Azaelia

[name_f]Isobel[/name_f]- [name_u]Love[/name_u] the meaning that it has to you. [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t think I can say much else as it’s an honour name~
[name_u]Eloise[/name_u]- I prefer [name_f]Louise[/name_f], but I don’t mind [name_u]Eloise[/name_u]. It’s a melodic sounding name.
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f]- I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f]! It’s my favourite name on your list, btw
[name_f]Lucia[/name_f] (loo-see-ah)- I prefer the pronunciation [name_f]Lu[/name_f]-chee-uh, but I tend to love Italian names anyway, so biased here.
[name_f]Alice[/name_f]- Another name I prefer the Italian pronunciation of, but this name is alright.
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]- Not fond of, personally.
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f]- I used to very much dislike this name, but I’ve warmed up to it slightly. I do prefer [name_f]Emiliana[/name_f] or [name_f]Emilia[/name_f], though.
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f]- Not fond of, personally.
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]- I love [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]!
[name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] (ay-lee)- I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] this name, but to me it’s better as a middle name.
[name_f]Rosalia[/name_f]- I usually prefer Italian pronunciations, but here I tend to prefer [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f].
[name_f]Zoe[/name_f]- I love [name_f]Zoe[/name_f]!
[name_f]Azalea[/name_f]- I used to like this name. Not as fond of it as I used to be, though.
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]- Pretty, but not my style.
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]- Not fond of.
[name_f]Everleigh[/name_f]-Not my style.
[name_f]Rebecca[/name_f]- Not fond of
[name_f]Leila[/name_f]- Not fond of.
[name_u]Harper[/name_u]- Pretty
[name_f]Grace[/name_f]- I really like the name [name_f]Grace[/name_f].
[name_f]Zara[/name_f]- Intriguing

[name_u]Love[/name_u]:
[name_f]Isobel[/name_f]
[name_u]Eloise[/name_u]
[name_f]Lucia[/name_f]
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]
[name_f]Zara[/name_f]

Like:
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f]
[name_f]Alice[/name_f]
[name_f]Zoe[/name_f]
[name_f]Leila[/name_f]
[name_u]Harper[/name_u]
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] - I have if as my top middle name, but to honor my mom and [name_f]MIL[/name_f].

Dislike:
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f] - Reminds me of the American Girl [name_m]Doll[/name_m].
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] - I cannot get over visiting my great great aunt when I was little. The old people smell haunts me forever.
[name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] - Looks odd to me.
[name_f]Rosalia[/name_f] - Prefer [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f].
[name_f]Azalea[/name_f] - Also looks odd to me.
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] - Prefer [name_f]Delilah[/name_f], I know a stretch.
[name_f]Everleigh[/name_f] - [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_u]Everly[/name_u], but highly dislike the spelling of [name_f]Everleigh[/name_f].
[name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] - Dated to me.

I find the name [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] to be a tad outlandish. It reminds me of a popular doll I had when I was a kid.

The other names are very beautiful however!!! I adore the name [name_f]Isobel[/name_f]! I think it would sound lovely with the middle name [name_f]Rose[/name_f]!!! [name_f]Imagine[/name_f]; [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]

[name_f]Isobel[/name_f] - I really love this spelling, especially with the less common nn [name_u]Izzy[/name_u].
[name_u]Eloise[/name_u] - [name_u]Love[/name_u] this as well, it doesn’t seem frilly or spoiled to me like some think it is. I like the feel of the name, it’s very elegant and sweet, but not too soft.
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f] - I’ve never cared for [name_f]Matilda[/name_f]. I like [name_f]Tilly[/name_f], and [name_u]Matty[/name_u]'s alright, but the full name still feels immature and clunky to me.
[name_f]Lucia[/name_f] (loo-see-ah) - I love [name_f]Lucia[/name_f], especially with the loo-see-ah pronunciation. It’s very delicate, but also a lot stronger than slightly less substantial [name_f]Lucy[/name_f].
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] - i really dislike this name, even though I can recognize why people use it. To me, it just sounds sort of simpering and whiny almost.
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] - Never been a fan of [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], or [name_f]Nora[/name_f], that family of names doesn’t appeal to me. I get that it’s classic and pretty, but it’s not my style.
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] - Slightly prefer [name_f]Emilia[/name_f], but [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] is lovely as well. It’s a little more distinct than [name_f]Emily[/name_f] or [name_f]Emma[/name_f], but with the same sweet, classic sound.
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f] - [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] sounds a little immature to me, but it’s not that bad.
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] - I really don’t like [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], especially the double e sound. It’s the kind of name I’d give to a pet because of the funny sound, but not a human.
[name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] (ay-lee) - I’m sure I’d butcher the pronunciation just looking at it (I tend to do that), but I love the sound. Very pretty.
[name_f]Rosalia[/name_f] - To be honest, I love any [name_f]Rose[/name_f]/[name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]/[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f]/[name_f]Rosalyn[/name_f] name, and [name_f]Rosalia[/name_f] is no exception. It’s gorgeous.
[name_f]Zoe[/name_f] - I love [name_f]Zoe[/name_f]'s spunk and slightly quirky, yet classic sound. It’s short and sweet, but not soft, definitely lively and energetic.
[name_f]Azalea[/name_f] - A little too offbeat for me.
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] - I like [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], even though I prefer the overused, but still beautiful [name_f]Jennifer[/name_f]. [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] is classic and feminine, but substantial and strong, with plenty of nickname options.
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] - I really like melodic [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]. It’s fun to say, with the plus of the adorable nicknames [name_f]Lulu[/name_f], [name_f]Lula[/name_f], and [name_f]Lola[/name_f]. It’s strong and spunky, great for a little girl, teenager, and adult.
[name_f]Everleigh[/name_f] - I love [name_u]Everly[/name_u], it’s feminine, but modern and spunky, but I really dislike the over complicated spelling [name_f]Everleigh[/name_f].
[name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] - My name! I can tell you from experience that it’s not bad at all. I like [name_f]Becky[/name_f] and [name_f]Becca[/name_f], slightly prefer [name_f]Becca[/name_f], and even though it’s kind of dated and not particularly unique, it’s a perfectly good name. Hardly ever misspelled or made fun of.
[name_f]Leila[/name_f] (I like both pronunciations) - I have a bad association, but in sound alone, both lay-luh and lee-luh are beautiful. I prefer lay-luh by a tiny bit. [name_f]Leila[/name_f] has that wonderful double L sound, without the delicate and slightly cutesy sound of [name_f]Lily[/name_f].
[name_u]Harper[/name_u] - One of a few ‘trendy’ unisex names I like, along with [name_u]Piper[/name_u] and [name_u]Bailey[/name_u]. It’s plucky, but not too much, just the right balance of spunk and sweetness.
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] - A little dull, but gentle, bright-eyed, and charmingly simple. I like it, but wouldn’t use it myself.
[name_f]Zara[/name_f] - Very unique, but pretty.

Isobel -
Eloise - A childhood-memory-bias but the movies and books are the best so [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] has a good connection in my mind.
Matilda - The book by [name_m]Roald[/name_m] Dahl was one of my favorites growing up.
Lucia (loo-see-ah)
Alice - I like [name_f]Alice[/name_f], although some people think it’s too dainty or plain. I think [name_f]Alice[/name_f] in Wonderland could give it an edge.
Eleanor - More of an “in theory” kind of name for me. I like it, but would probably not use it in real life. I’m not a fan of the nicknames.
Amelia - Dislike by connotation. I once knew a girl who was the opposite of nice to me so I’m not a fan.
Felicity - I adore [name_f]Felicity[/name_f]! My favorite American Girl [name_m]Doll[/name_m] was/still is [name_f]Felicity[/name_f]. She’s a historical doll whose story is set in Colonial Williamsburg. She’s really cool.
Phoebe - I like [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]. It gives off that whimsical flare that [name_f]Alice[/name_f] does.
Eilidh (ay-lee) - The pronunciation issue would be a major turn-off for me. I can appreciate the name and origins behind it though.
Azalea - It reminds me too much of [name_m]Iggy[/name_m] [name_f]Azalea[/name_f].
Genevieve - I prefer the [name_m]French[/name_m] pronounciation. And I don’t like the nn [name_f]Jen[/name_f].
Tallulah - [name_u]Love[/name_u] it, as well as possible nicknames. It’s another that seems spunky in a way, as well as soft.
Everleigh - Not a fan.
Rebecca - I prefer the spelling [name_f]Rebekah[/name_f].
Leila (I like both pronunciations) - I don’t have any negatives about it, but it’s not really my style.
Harper - I can’t get past how it sounds, I guess. I think of someone harping on something, so repeating something in an annoying way. It just seems strange to me.
Grace - It’s okay. I’ve met so many [name_f]Grace[/name_f]'s before it’s pretty boring now.
Zara - I recently took a liking to [name_f]Zara[/name_f]. It’s different enough to stand out but also sounds natural if said in a classroom roll-call.

My favorites are [name_f]Isobel[/name_f], [name_f]Alice[/name_f], and [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]. I want to like [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] (ay-lee), but I think it could be harder to carry off in real life due to challenges with spelling.

[name_f]Isobel[/name_f] is one of my absolute favorites! I also love [name_u]Eloise[/name_u], [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Amelia[/name_f], [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], [name_f]Grace[/name_f] and [name_f]Zara[/name_f]. I think we have fairly similar taste in girls names so a few others on my lists -

[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]/[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f]
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f]
[name_f]Elysia[/name_f]
[name_f]Elsie[/name_f]
[name_f]Laurel[/name_f]
[name_f]Caoimhe[/name_f]
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f]
[name_f]Althea[/name_f]
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f]
[name_f]Thalia[/name_f]

[name_f]Isobel[/name_f] - There’s nothing I love more than honourary names. This name is one of my favourites, and my favourite spelling of the name. One of my favourite combos is [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] [name_f]Isobel[/name_f]. My favourite on the list.
[name_u]Eloise[/name_u] - This is pretty, I like it better than [name_f]Louise[/name_f] I think. I don’t know if I’d use it myself, but it’s sweet.
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f] - This was the name of my great great grandmother (though she always went by her middle name, [name_f]Anne[/name_f]) I like all the sweet nicknames that come with it. I often associate it with the Australian folk song, but it was also the name of [name_f]Empress[/name_f] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] as well.
[name_f]Lucia[/name_f] (loo-see-ah) - This is extremely pretty, I really love it. I also love [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f] (my great grandmother’s name, though with [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f] she’d be nicknamed [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]).
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] - This was my great great grandmother’s name. I love it, it’s classic.
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] - I used to not like this name, but now I really do. So many nickname options ([name_f]El[/name_f], [name_f]Nel[/name_f], [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], [name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_f]Nora[/name_f]). [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] is also nice, but some people think it’s a bit much.
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] - Very pretty. I prefer [name_f]Emilia[/name_f], though.
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f] - This was one of my favourite names as a little girl. It just screams fairy princess. It has an ethereal quality about it. I feel like a person named [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] floats on air. It makes me think of beauty and purity.
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] - I’ve never been a fan, but I know some lovely people with the name.
[name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] (ay-lee) - I do love Gaelic names, but for me personally this is just okay. It is cute, though.
[name_f]Rosalia[/name_f] - Beautiful. I love all [name_f]Rose[/name_f] names, my favourite being [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f]. I love the pairing [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] or [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f].
[name_f]Zoe[/name_f] - I’ve just never been a fan of this name, but it’s quite cute.
[name_f]Azalea[/name_f] - This is pretty, but [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] [name_m]Banks[/name_m] really put me off it.
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] - One of my favourite names as a little girl. I still love it now. I think of a princess.
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] - I used to really love it (and still do) It sounds like a song. A couple naming their child [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] does the Hula from [name_m]Hawaii[/name_m] put me off it, though! I prefer the Irish [name_f]Fionnuala[/name_f] ([name_m]Fin[/name_m]-oo-lah)
[name_f]Everleigh[/name_f] - I’ve never heard of this name before. I just don’t like ‘[name_u]Leigh[/name_u]’ names that much, or names that are too modern. I prefer classic names.
[name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] - A sweet name, but never one I’ve personally been a fan of. Maybe it’s the nickname ‘[name_f]Becky[/name_f]’!
[name_f]Leila[/name_f] (I like both pronunciations) I prefer the [name_u]Lee[/name_u]-lah pronounciation. It’s pretty and feminine, makes me think of lilies.
[name_u]Harper[/name_u] - It’s cute, but I’m not a fan.
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] - Classic, you can never go wrong with a classic.
[name_f]Zara[/name_f] - It’s okay, I prefer [name_f]Clara[/name_f].

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] I helped! [name_f]Remember[/name_f] everyone had different opinions on names, and no opinion is right or wrong. Go with your gut.

Thank you to everyone who has suggested so far. @valentine I love [name_f]Caoimhe[/name_f] but I have no Irish heritage so it might be too much.

For those asking the other pronunciation was [name_u]Lee[/name_u]-lah

I love/adore:
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f]
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Everleigh[/name_f] (Prefer [name_u]Everly[/name_u])
[name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] (Really like this, but I’d be put off because I’m not sure people would pronounce it properly and she’d forever be correcting them)

Like:
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f]
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]
[name_u]Harper[/name_u]
[name_f]Isobel[/name_f]
[name_f]Alice[/name_f]
[name_f]Grace[/name_f]

Dislike:
[name_u]Eloise[/name_u] (Prefer [name_f]Elodie[/name_f])
[name_f]Lucia[/name_f] (I prefer Loo-Chee-Uh)
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosalia[/name_f]
[name_f]Azalea[/name_f]
[name_f]Zoe[/name_f]
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]
[name_f]Rebecca[/name_f]
[name_f]Leila[/name_f]
[name_f]Zara[/name_f]

[name_f]Isobel[/name_f]: [name_u]Love[/name_u] this spelling and the fact that it honors your grandmother.
[name_u]Eloise[/name_u]: Personally not my style but it’s a nice name.
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f]: I’ve never liked this one and I feel like it’s becoming trendy.
[name_f]Lucia[/name_f]: I like this pronunciation best and I think it’s a very pretty name.
[name_f]Alice[/name_f]: Pretty and classic.
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]: [name_u]Love[/name_u] this and the variety of nicknames. My favorite is [name_f]Nell[/name_f].
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f]: Very popular and the “meal” sound is unappealing to me personally.
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f]: This is nice.
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]: [name_u]Love[/name_u]. One of my favorites.
[name_f]Eilidh[/name_f]: It has a cute sound but I fear you’d face a lot of pronunciation problems.
[name_f]Rosalia[/name_f]: Pretty but again with the multiple pronunciations.
[name_f]Zoe[/name_f]: Pretty popular but it has a fun sound. I just wonder whether it would age well.
[name_f]Azalea[/name_f]: Not my favorite flower name but it’s nice enough.
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]: [name_u]Love[/name_u] this name. It will never go out of style.
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]: Also love this one but like [name_f]Zoe[/name_f], I can’t picture a middle-aged woman with this name.
[name_f]Everleigh[/name_f]: [name_m]Way[/name_m] too trendy. I prefer [name_u]Everly[/name_u] but it still might be dated to this decade.
[name_f]Rebecca[/name_f]: Nice biblical classic. Can’t go wrong.
[name_f]Leila[/name_f]: It’s a nice name. [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t have strong feelings either way.
[name_u]Harper[/name_u]: Very popular and may sound dated in a few years although I know that doesn’t bother you.
[name_f]Grace[/name_f]: Popular but for a reason. This is a very pretty, classic, virtue name that will work on anyone.
[name_f]Zara[/name_f]: See [name_f]Leila[/name_f].
