In general, I really like them. None of them are horribly problematic in any way. And you should value your own opinion more that a bunch of strangers on the internet. That said, here it goes…

[name]Theodore[/name]~ It’s a nice, handsome classic.
[name]Peter[/name]~ Ditto.
[name]Blaine[/name]~ Not my favorite, but not bad or anything.

[name]Finian[/name]~ I like it but I think I like [name]Finnegan[/name] better.

So my personal favorites are [name]Cyrus[/name], [name]Theodore[/name], [name]Demetri[/name], [name]Callum[/name], and [name]Evander[/name]. The ones I don’t like as much are [name]Blaine[/name], [name]Blaise[/name], and [name]Remy[/name].
[name]Cyrus[/name] - don’t really like it, but it’s a fine name. No real reason I can place.
[name]Theodore[/name] - I love [name]Theodore[/name]!
[name]Peter[/name] - I love [name]Peter[/name]!

[name]Blaise[/name] - blazing just seems like it has tease potential? i do kind of like this as a middle though.

[name]Finian[/name] - it’s nice enough. [name]Finnian[/name] looks like a nicer spelling to me and I like [name]Finnegan[/name] more.

[name]Callum[/name] - like [name]Callum[/name] pretty well.

[name]Malcolm[/name] - I echo the pp’s sentiment. Small world! Also [name]Mal[/name] always makes me think of “bad” in Spanish, but I get that’s not universal.

personally I love remmy. I almost decided on [name]Remington[/name] for my son and would call him remmy…but I chose sterling instead.
also love [name]Lennon[/name] and [name]Theodore[/name]. not a huge fan of [name]Lewis[/name] finian or [name]Peter[/name]
@backtomyroots yeah I do think that makes [name]Malcolm[/name] tricky. [name]Colm[/name] is related and cool, [name]Callum[/name] feels faintly similar to me, and [name]Malcolm[/name] always makes me think of the surname Macomb, if you like any of those.
In my opinion I created to categories on what you should keep and what you should nix from the list.
Keep:
[name]Theodore[/name] - Old school yet awesome nicknames [name]Theo[/name]/[name]Theon[/name]/[name]Thor[/name].
[name]Peter[/name] - We need more little [name]Peter[/name]'s! I assume the male anatomy reference is to blame.
[name]Lewis[/name] - Great choice that is never wrong.
[name]Callum[/name] - Different and [name]Cal[/name] is a nice nickname.
[name]Desmond[/name] - I also never hear on children.
[name]Malcolm[/name] - I love this name for my own selfish family reasons but is still a great name.

[name]Cyrus[/name] - I adore this name! [name]Love[/name] it, it’s great! and I agree with a pp that [name]Cy[/name] is such a cool nickname.
[name]Theodore[/name] - I like this one, really like [name]Theo[/name] as a nickname, or as a full name.
[name]Peter[/name] - classic name. I wouldn’t use it personally, but a little [name]Pete[/name] or [name]Petey[/name] is too cute on a little boy.
[name]Blaine[/name] - don’t like this at all.
[name]Blaise[/name] - same as [name]Blaine[/name], don’t like.
[name]Demetri[/name] - I really like this one and it’s one of the names where I actually like all of the various spellings.
[name]Finian[/name] - not sure about [name]Finian[/name], I love [name]Finnegan[/name], and prefer [name]Finlay[/name] to [name]Finian[/name] (not that you were asking for alternatives to get to [name]Finn[/name], but just in case)

[name]Evander[/name] - I like this one, I wonder if a lot of people would automatically think the boxer, I don’t even like boxing or know much about it and that’s where my mind first went.

[name]Lennon[/name] - I really like [name]Lennon[/name], and even though I always think [name]John[/name]…I still love it, great association for me.

I think most of them are just fine.
I would skip [name]Blaise[/name], which just sounds a bit affected to me. I might also skip [name]Finian[/name], if your son might want to travel to [name]Ireland[/name] someday. The term has some political connotations there.
