Number 2 due in 3 weeks and we aren’t aure what we are having. Boys are sorted… If a girl, my two favourite names are [name_f]Olive[/name_f] and, more recently, [name_f]Clover[/name_f]. I really like [name_f]Clover[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f], [name_f]Clover[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] and [name_f]Clover[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Cece[/name_f] pehaps? Hubby hates this last combo especially though)!
[name_m]Just[/name_m] wondering what people’s thoughts are on the name [name_f]Clover[/name_f] for a little girl?
Also, i have a daughter named [name_f]Poppy[/name_f]. Is this too nature-y, or is it a nice combo in your opinion?
Thanks in advance
I think [name_f]Clover[/name_f] is cute and a great fit with [name_f]Poppy[/name_f]. [name_f]Cece[/name_f] is a very cute nickname but I’d imagine ‘[name_f]Chloe[/name_f]’ would be inevitable.
I actually just posted about [name_f]Clover[/name_f] I’m in a similar spot - [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] it!!! But is it too unusual? Also might be doubling up on nature names lol - my little guy is named Rockford and we call him [name_m]Rocky[/name_m]. I think we might be naming twins???
I personally like [name_f]Olive[/name_f] with [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] more than [name_f]Clover[/name_f]! But if you are looking for a theme than definitely go with [name_f]Clover[/name_f]! It is a very unique name and she’ll probably be the only one growing up with that name which is so nice! With [name_f]Clover[/name_f] the mn options are endless! [name_f]Clover[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] is so beautiful!
I love it. It’s a middle name only for me, but I think it works as a first. I’ve toyed with [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_f]Clover[/name_f] vs. [name_f]Clover[/name_f] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]. The latter might be a good substitute for [name_f]Clover[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] if you like it. Otherwise [name_f]Clover[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] is my favorite.
Im not sure how I feel about [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] and [name_f]Clover[/name_f] however. On the one hand they’re kind of perfect together, but on the other hand they might be too cutesy together. [name_f]Olive[/name_f] is sweet but less cutesy, in my opinion.
