Honest opinions on Bram or Bramwell?

[name_m]Bram[/name_m] is really starting to grow on me. I love its slightly edgy, Victorian Gothic feel.

What do you think of [name_m]Bram[/name_m]? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you prefer just [name_m]Bram[/name_m] or [name_m]Bramwell[/name_m] with the nn [name_m]Bram[/name_m]?

I have always liked [name_m]Bram[/name_m] on its own, it loses something when it’s short for [name_m]Bramwell[/name_m].

I love both [name_m]Bram[/name_m] and [name_m]Bramwell[/name_m] but I dislike [name_m]Bram[/name_m] as a nickname for [name_m]Bramwell[/name_m]. I think both names stand on their own. They’re wonderful names and have been on my list for years!

I like [name_m]Bram[/name_m] by itself. I’m not a fan of [name_m]Bramwell[/name_m]. [name_m]Bram[/name_m] definitely has that Victorian, Gothic feel to it…which is cool without being too much

[name_m]Bram[/name_m] all the way

[name_m]Bram[/name_m] is great - sweet, simple and no-nonsense, though not at all common. [name_m]Bramwell[/name_m] on the other hand seems pretentious and showy to me. [name_m]Bram[/name_m] definitely gets my vote.

Oh, I like them both! [name_m]Bram[/name_m] on its own or [name_m]Bramwell[/name_m] “[name_m]Bram[/name_m]”.

[name_m]Bram[/name_m] on his own is great!

I’ve been obsessed with [name_m]Bram[/name_m]! Can’t convince the hub tho…

[name_m]Bram[/name_m] sounds terrific on its own to me or as a nn… for [name_m]Abram[/name_m], or [name_m]Bramwell[/name_m], or Bramshaw.

Possible alternatives:

[name_m]Branson[/name_m]
[name_u]Beck[/name_u], [name_m]Beckett[/name_m]
[name_m]Brecken[/name_m]

I vastly prefer [name_m]Bram[/name_m].

I love the name, [name_m]Bram[/name_m], either by itself or as a nn for [name_m]Bramwell[/name_m].

I like [name_m]Bram[/name_m] on its own.

I like [name_m]Bramwell[/name_m], but it reminds me a lot of the [name_f]Bronte[/name_f] sisters’ brother [name_m]Branwell[/name_m] (and alchoholic). I don’t think a lot of people would make that connection, though. I prefer [name_m]Bramwell[/name_m] nn [name_m]Bram[/name_m].

I love the name [name_m]Bram[/name_m]! it’s very handsome, and so sweet on a little boy. I think [name_m]Bramwell[/name_m] nn [name_m]Bram[/name_m] could work too, but I prefer [name_m]Bram[/name_m]!

You guys have really given me confidence on [name_m]Bram[/name_m] as a stand-alone name! I really love [name_m]Bram[/name_m] but felt like it needed a longer version at first. Now to find a middle name. I feel like one-syllable names are so much harder to work with haha

[name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_m]Bramwell[/name_m] with the nickname [name_m]Bram[/name_m]. I do think [name_m]Bram[/name_m] works on its own as well, but it seems a bit abrupt and incomplete. [name_m]Bramwell[/name_m], on the other hand, truly captures a Victorian, sophisticated feel, while the optional nickname [name_m]Bram[/name_m] can be used more casually.

I love [name_m]Bram[/name_m]

Oh, by the way, have you considered the name Bromwell (nn [name_m]Brom[/name_m])? Personally, I like that even better than [name_m]Bramwell[/name_m]/[name_m]Bram[/name_m]. It has a cool, Gothic, literary connotation with the character of [name_m]Brom[/name_m] Bones from Sleepy Hollow as well.

I really like [name_m]Bram[/name_m] by itself.
