Honest Opinions Please

Okay lately I have been really liking the name [name]Clementine[/name] with the nn [name]Clemma[/name]. Is is usable or should it be on my guilty pleasure list? For some background I live in a small rural town in the southwest U.S. and have never heard that name around here before. Please be completely honest with your opinions! Thanks in advance Berries!

I think [name]Clementine[/name] is very usable - there is a chance people will think you named your daughter after the fruit but who cares, it’s a beautiful name. I don’t love [name]Clemma[/name] though; it makes me think of [name]Clem[/name] which makes me think of [name]Flem[/name] and then I get to Flemma.
alternative nn suggestion: [name]Minnie[/name]

Thanks lexiem! [name]Minnie[/name] is a really cute nn for [name]Clementine[/name].

I love [name]Clementine[/name], and I only know one girl with the name, who goes by [name]Clemmie[/name]. There are so many nickname possibilities - [name]Minty[/name] is just ADORABLE, but some consider it a bit of a stretch…I’d have to go with [name]Araminta[/name] instead sigh. Good luck - [name]Clementine[/name] is lovely!

I have to agree.

Thanks berries for the feedback! I think it’s one of those names that is going to have to be a middle name option or just a guilty pleasure name.

I love [name]Clementine[/name], but I have a hard time seeing it on an adult. My mother says she knows an elderly lady named [name]Clementine[/name] and said it always seemed to fit her.

[name]Clementine[/name] is ok, its not my style but I like it on someone else’s child.

I love [name]Clementine[/name]. I don’t see it as backwoods at all, I think it’s very elegant. I don’t loooove [name]Clemma[/name], I prefer [name]Minnie[/name].

I would put it on the guilty pleasure list, but if you like it, go for it. I live in the Midwest U.S. (not tooo far from you I would assume) and haven’t heard it much, but that just makes it unique, which of course isn’t necessarily bad. It’s not my style, but I don’t totally hate it either.
