I’d love for your honest opinions and thoughts on my pairings. Many of these combinations I’ve had for forever now, but there are a few new loves so I would be the most appreciative of anything you’d like to share or suggest. I’m not sure if you remember me but a little while ago you posted on a thread of mine where I commented on some of your favourite name pairings and to say I was a fan of them would be a huge understatement. I love [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f], I think [name_f]Lily[/name_f] in the middle name spot is somewhat unexpected and really sweet! [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] and [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Maude[/name_f] are also beautiful.

[name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u], [name_f]Amara[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Alaia[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_u]Fallon[/name_u] aren’t names I would personally choose but they’re great combos that I wanted to highlight because I love them for you!

Your boys’ names sound great, most of them are a bit too modern for me but I love [name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Amias[/name_m]!

I must really have nothing to do because I’m about to review a l l of these:

[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] - [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] middles always work best as simple n short, so this gets a thumbs up from me.

[name_f]Alaina[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] - Despite my belief that [name_f]Fae[/name_f] (or even [name_f]Fey[/name_f]) are superior spellings, this has a good flow to it !

[name_f]Valerie[/name_f] [name_f]Carys[/name_f] - Not a huge fan, seems kinda clunky. Then again I don’t like either of these names so I may be biased idk.

[name_f]Sybil[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] - While not a huge [name_f]Sybil[/name_f] fan, I do think [name_f]Grace[/name_f] works well with it !

Dafina [name_u]Rae[/name_u] - I’ve never heard Dafina before and I am in l o v e !!! As for [name_u]Rae[/name_u], I don’t really like it as a middle for this one though. Maybe Dafina [name_f]Rosaline[/name_f] or Dafina [name_f]Belle[/name_f] ?

[name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] - Pretty average, not a huge fan of [name_f]Tessa[/name_f].

[name_u]Florence[/name_u] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] - This one just… doesn’t click with me, though I can’t name why.

[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_u]Willow[/name_u] - [name_u]Willow[/name_u] seems like an odd pairing choice, though I enjoy both names. [name_u]Willow[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] would be cute, or even [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] [name_u]Willow[/name_u] ? As for alternate [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] pairings, maybe [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_f]Clemence[/name_f] or [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_f]Angeline[/name_f] ?

[name_f]Delilah[/name_f] [name_f]Esme[/name_f] - While not a huge fan at first, the name [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] has been growing on me. As for the pairing, it’s alright, though nothing spectacular imo.

[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] - The [name_f]Iris[/name_f] feels oddly out of place on this one. Perhaps a [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], or if we’re being less vintage [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] or [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_f]Callista[/name_f] ?

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_u]Fallon[/name_u] - While I like the pairing, [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] and [name_u]Fallon[/name_u] just seem to have such different vibes, it’s kind of weird.

[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f] - I’d prefer a [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Elisa[/name_f]/Eliza, but this is fine.

[name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] - I don’t like either of these names, but [name_u]June[/name_u] does balance out [name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f] pretty well.

[name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Maude[/name_f] - I kinda like this one ! Not huge on [name_f]Maude[/name_f], but it goes decently with [name_f]Adeline[/name_f], a name I quite like !

[name_f]Amara[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] - Nothing wrong with this one, I just think [name_f]Violet[/name_f]'s a little overdone. [name_m]Even[/name_m] a quick [name_f]Amara[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] to [name_f]Amara[/name_f] [name_f]Violette[/name_f] would do the trick.

[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] - This would flow really well if it were [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] instead of [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]. [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Anna[/name_f] may be better, though [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] in general gives me more middle vibes than fn. [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] is actually kinda cool imo !

[name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] - I love [name_f]May[/name_f], [name_f]Rose[/name_f], etc as classic middles that balance out more elaborate names like [name_f]Josephine[/name_f], [name_f]Delilah[/name_f], [name_f]Valentina[/name_f], etc. [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] is more chic than elaborate, so the [name_f]May[/name_f] middle name seems quite lackluster instead of being a good balance. Maybe an [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_f]Demetria[/name_f] or an [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_f]Briella[/name_f] would flow smoother.

[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] - If trying to honor [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_m]Roosevelt[/name_m] via a name, I feel like [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] or [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] would be better. [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] is like tonal whiplash, from the sophisticated [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] to the playful [name_f]Rosie[/name_f].

[name_f]Alaia[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] - [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] isn’t doing it for me in this one. Maybe [name_f]Alaia[/name_f] [name_u]Julie[/name_u] or [name_f]Alaine[/name_f] [name_f]Julia[/name_f]. It’s not bad, just doesn’t seem to flow very well for me.

Here are my thoughts-

Girls:

Sofia [name_u]Marie[/name_u]-I’m so glad that you spelled [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] that way. It looks much classier, but I can’t decide why. I like the name [name_u]Marie[/name_u] in general, but it feels so filler & not special as a mn. Although this flows fine.

Josephine [name_f]Lily[/name_f]-That’s so lovely! [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] is elegant & feminine & bold. [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is just sweet & has beautiful flower imagery. The flow is classic & perfect.

Alaina [name_f]Faye[/name_f]-I’d much prefer [name_f]Elena[/name_f]. It looks sleeker. I’m not a huge fan of the repeating long ‘a’ sound here.

Valerie [name_f]Carys[/name_f]-I think that styles work well, even though I’m not into [name_f]Carys[/name_f] for some reason. [name_f]Valerie[/name_f] is fun & unexpected.

Sybil [name_f]Grace[/name_f]-I prefer [name_f]Sibyl[/name_f], & [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is not my style. [name_m]Just[/name_m] a tad filler too. And I really want to like [name_f]Sibyl[/name_f], but it just feels a bit bland. This isn’t bad though.

Dafina [name_u]Rae[/name_u]-Dafina is different & interesting. I feel like it needs a more exotic mn.

Tessa [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]-Oh, that’s very nice. I love the flow & the styles together. [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] is great because it’s feminine & smart but sporty. Simple & well known, but not popular.

Florence [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]-Neither of these names are my cup of tea (even though other Berries seem to love them), but the flow is good & [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] kind of makes [name_u]Florence[/name_u] feel spunkier, which I like.

Rosalie [name_u]Willow[/name_u]-It’s kind of a tongue twister, but the styles are great. [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] is so lovable.

Delilah [name_f]Esme[/name_f]-This flows really well, & I adore [name_f]Esme[/name_f]. [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] always felt a little snobby to me.

Scarlett [name_f]Iris[/name_f]-This is too ‘s’ heavy & ‘r’ heavy & two flowers in a row. I’m not into [name_f]Iris[/name_f] either for some reason. [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] is okay. Kind of popular.

Audrey [name_u]Fallon[/name_u]-Aw, I like [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]. It has such a great balance of sweet down to earth w/a touch of glamour. I’m not usually into [name_u]Fallon[/name_u], but it’s different & this flows well.

Charlotte [name_f]Elise[/name_f]-The whole combo is a little underwhelming, just because [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is so popular & [name_f]Elise[/name_f] is kind of a filler mn. But the names are fine in general.

Rhiannon [name_u]June[/name_u]-I like [name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f] in theory, but not the sound that much. I like the [name_u]June[/name_u] part, but not how these both end in ‘n’.

Adeline [name_f]Maude[/name_f]-[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Adeline[/name_f]! It’s been on my list since my name obsession begun in full force circa 1997. I’m so annoyed that every kid I meet is called [name_f]Adelyn[/name_f] though. I think that [name_f]Maude[/name_f] is really fun & vintage, but not loving the flow of this.

Amara [name_f]Violet[/name_f]-I can’t get into [name_f]Amara[/name_f] for some reason, but do love [name_f]Violet[/name_f] & this combo sounds great.

Isabelle [name_f]Jane[/name_f]-That’s sweet & classic. I prefer [name_f]Isobel[/name_f], but kind of do like [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] w/Jane.

Estelle [name_f]May[/name_f]-Ooh, very sleek & polished & elegant.

Eleanor [name_f]Rosie[/name_f]-[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]. Another one that I wish weren’t so popular. It’s a great balance of bold, feminine, classic, smart & adventurous. I like [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] a lot, but it feels too nick-namey. I have [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] on my list, which this reminds me of but I like the flow better.

Alaia [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]-[name_f]Alaia[/name_f] just doesn’t look right. Must be too many vowels. [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] is gorgeous, & this flows well.

Boys:

Ashton [name_u]Everett[/name_u]-[name_u]Ashton[/name_u] feels a little trendy to me. I much prefer the more old fashioned [name_u]Asher[/name_u]. [name_u]Everett[/name_u] is handsome. I guess this sounds okay. A little ‘t’ heavy.

Wesley [name_u]Noah[/name_u]-That’s a gorgeous combo. I like [name_u]Noah[/name_u] in the mn spot a lot. And [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] is smart & charming.

Theo [name_u]Hayes[/name_u]-Good combo & [name_u]Theo[/name_u] is adorable. I just really feel like it’s better as a nn for [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]. It feels incomplete.

Nathan [name_m]Emrys[/name_m]-I don’t love [name_m]Emrys[/name_m], but I’m not sure why. [name_m]Nathan[/name_m] is a good solid classic. I love the sporty friendly nn of [name_m]Nate[/name_m]. This combo flows well.

Lucas [name_u]Owen[/name_u]-This flows nicely, but [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] is just so over done that it’s lost its sparkle. I prefer [name_m]Luc[/name_m] or [name_u]Luca[/name_u].

William [name_u]Tate[/name_u]-I love [name_m]William[/name_m]. [name_m]Even[/name_m] though it’s over done too, it feels classic still. [name_u]Tate[/name_u] is not my style, but this combo is still nice.

Stellan [name_m]Troy[/name_m]-I don’t love [name_m]Stellan[/name_m]. It reminds me of Stalin. [name_m]Troy[/name_m] feels a little too hillbilly for my tastes, but that may be a hot take!

Emmett [name_u]Beau[/name_u]-See, now [name_u]Beau[/name_u] feels hillbilly too, but in a cuter way. I like [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] okay. It doesn’t sparkle, but it’s nice.

Hayden [name_m]Leo[/name_m]-I don’t mind [name_u]Hayden[/name_u] as much as [name_m]Caden[/name_m]/Braden/Jaden/Zayden, but it still feels a little lumped in. [name_u]Hayden[/name_u] [name_m]Leo[/name_m] is nice none the less. And I kind of love [name_u]Aidan[/name_u], so go figure.

Caleb [name_u]Madison[/name_u]-Good combo. [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] is a bit like [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] to me. Kind of classic, but just feels like early 2000s dated at the same time.

Maddox [name_u]Reign[/name_u]-This whole combo feels too pretentious.

Elias [name_u]Michael[/name_u]-I like [name_u]Elias[/name_u]. It’s sweet & smart & interesting. [name_u]Michael[/name_u] is fine, but I don’t like the flow here that much.

Declan [name_u]James[/name_u]-Super handsome & sporty & lovable!

Henry [name_m]Amias[/name_m]-Cool combo. I love [name_m]Henry[/name_m], even though it’s so popular.

I really love your suggestion of [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] [name_u]Presley[/name_u], I would have never thought of it myself but I really love the bit of edge and sass it gives more simple, pretty and common [name_f]Sofia[/name_f]! If I may, what do you think about [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] and [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f]. Those are a few other names from my list of favourite middles that I feel might work well with [name_f]Sofia[/name_f]! [name_u]Or[/name_u] possibly [name_f]Peridot[/name_f], as you suggested for [name_f]Tessa[/name_f]!

I honestly love your suggestion of [name_f]Alaina[/name_f] [name_f]Daphne[/name_f], another pairing I would have never thought of! I love [name_f]Alaina[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] but [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] may have to be added to my list of middles haha!

Sybil has always been a tricky one for me to pair with a middle and as much as I do love [name_f]Sybil[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f], I am so warming up to the idea of [name_f]Sybil[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] and [name_f]Sybil[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u]!
