It’s very pretty but I feel that [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] is very common as a first and [name_u]Marie[/name_u] is very common as a middle. I think [name_u]Marie[/name_u] [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] or [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] [name_f]Mary[/name_f] would be more unexpected but I like how dainty and elegant this combination is. It makes me think of hidden castles, chandeliers, glistening tiaras and floor high bookshelves.
7/10 [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] - Really like this! I love [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] and I don’t mind [name_f]Lily[/name_f]. I think because I know so many [name_f]Lily[/name_f]’s, the name doesn’t excite me but I like it in the middle spot and it’s great with [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]! In terms of imagery, I can see running barefoot through wildflower meadows, long flowing dresses and the sound of birds.
5/10 [name_f]Alaina[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] - [name_f]Alaina[/name_f] isn’t really my cup of tea, to be honest, and I’m not sure about the repetition of the ‘ay’ sound in [name_f]Alaina[/name_f] and [name_f]Faye[/name_f]. However, I love [name_f]Faye[/name_f] so much, perhaps slightly more as a first. I love how whimsical yet solid-sounding it is. I don’t get particularly strong imagery but the name feels very pink to me.
5/10 [name_f]Valerie[/name_f] [name_f]Carys[/name_f] - I’m starting to like [name_f]Valerie[/name_f] a lot and I would love to see a little girl with this name. Being Welsh, I know loads of [name_f]Carys[/name_f]’s which takes the shine off a bit, but its meaning is lovely. As a combination, I get dark red vibes. I always overthink sound patterns so I would say that the combination doesn’t have an amazing flow due to the repetition of the a and r sounds, but I don’t think this is an issue and overall, it’s a lovely, fresh combo!
7/10 [name_f]Sybil[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] - [name_f]Sybil[/name_f] is so sweet and I like [name_f]Grace[/name_f], but I think it is a tad overdone as a middle. Having said that, I like that [name_f]Grace[/name_f] makes [name_f]Sybil[/name_f] more down-to-earth and makes the combinations unusual but familiar - almost girl next door vibes for me! With this name I imagine lace dresses, warm patios, potted plants and herbs and messy ponytails.
7/10 Dafina [name_u]Rae[/name_u] - Dafina is intriguing and I like [name_u]Rae[/name_u]’s sunny charm! I think the combination works well. I wouldn’t say it’s completely my style, but I do really like it and how it flows. The imagery I get from this is wavy hair, blue eyes, sand between your toes, the taste of salty air and the feel of sun on the back of your neck.
8/10 [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] - So beautiful! Sounds lovely as a combination and I love the imagery it gives off. Simple but elegant!
9/10 [name_u]Florence[/name_u] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] - I think this is one of my favourites out of your pairings! It’s stunning and effortless! I imagine dancing in an empty ballroom, pink satin shoes and old buildings with creeping ivy.

The only thing I’d say is that they both end in that ‘n’ sound which sounds a bit choppy when I say it. The imagery I get is chunky black boots with floaty skirts, daisy chains and old record collections.
9/10 [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Maude[/name_f] - IN LOVE!!! I’m a huge lover of [name_f]Maude[/name_f] and it sounds so creamy and gorgeous with [name_f]Adeline[/name_f]. It’s perfect! Regarding imagery, I’m thinking white kittens with blue eyes, pale pink roses and blonde hair in a messy bun.
6/10 [name_f]Amara[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] - Not too keen on [name_f]Amara[/name_f] but I love [name_f]Violet[/name_f] in the middle spot and the flow of this combination is impeccable! [name_f]Amara[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] makes me think of purple butterflies and the sound of bumblebees.

I think it would be more unexpected to have [name_f]Jane[/name_f] as the first name and I personally prefer [name_f]Isobel[/name_f], but I like that this combination is feminine but not too frilly! Similar imagery to [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u] but [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u] is a darker pink and [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is a lighter pink.
6/10 [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] - I’d love to meet a little girl with this name! [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] is stunning and starry! I tend to prefer [name_f]May[/name_f] as a first name with the [name_f]Mae[/name_f] spelling but I like that this is a no nonsense combination that has a familiar feel. For [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f], I imagine bonfires and toasting marshmallows, twinkling stars and warm summer nights.

I’m not sure how I feel about the ‘r’ at the end of [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] going into the ‘r’ at the start of [name_f]Rosie[/name_f], but despite the fact that I’m so picky about sounds, I actually think the flow is pretty and I love the imagery that this combination connotes - fairy lights, the smell of old books, crushed flowers and homemade cookies.
6/10 [name_f]Alaia[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] - I’m not sure how you’re pronouncing [name_f]Alaia[/name_f]… I personally prefer uh-LAY-uh because I think the other pronunciation sounds a little like ‘a liar’. But I like the oozy femininity of the name balanced with a sense of being down-to-earth and confident!
Onto the boys! For some reason, I get really weak imagery for boys’ names but I’ll see what comes to mind!

If I may pick your brain further, I’ve thought about more possible middles for [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] and I’ve quite fallen in love with [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] [name_f]Peridot[/name_f], [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] and [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f], but [name_f]Peridot[/name_f] seems to be tugging at my heartstrings! If you have time, I’d love to hear your thoughts!
If you also have any suggestions for a middle for [name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f], I love it paired with [name_u]June[/name_u] but I’m afraid both ending in ‘n’ it can sound sort of clustered and I would love to hear your input!

[name_f]Sofia[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] is lovely but I get very princess vibes with [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] the First and [name_f]Belle[/name_f] from Beauty and the Beast. Not a problem by any means and the flow is gorgeous - maybe something to think about?? [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f] is pretty but I don’t think the a of [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] flows into the a of [name_f]Alice[/name_f]. I would go with [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] [name_f]Peridot[/name_f] - especially if it’s got the right feel for you!
