I’m tempted by [name_f]Angelina[/name_f] but I’m not too sure what people’s responses will be outside my family and friendship circle (who can’t very well diss it, lol). What are people’s honest thoughts?
I thnk it’s pretty, and while containing “angel” it’s not cutesy or something.
I love [name_f]Angelina[/name_f]. It’s such a beautiful name. The [name_f]Angelina[/name_f] [name_f]Jolie[/name_f] association is definitely there, but I don’t think it’s a bad thing since she does lots of humanitarian work and seems to be a good person.
I think it’s really pretty and soft, yet well-suited for a strong girl. It’s not too frilly or cutesy. A great name!
I think it’s very elegant as well as strong- both great qualities.
I like [name_f]Angelina[/name_f]! Pre-[name_m]Hamilton[/name_m] days I might have told you I preferred [name_f]Angelica[/name_f] but… yeah. I think it’s recognizable and sweet without being cutesy and is totally usable.
I love it! I have [name_f]Angeline[/name_f] on my own list, and [name_f]Angelina[/name_f] is very close to that. Like someone mentioned the [name_f]Angelina[/name_f] [name_f]Jolie[/name_f] association will always be there, but it’s up to you how you feel about that.
I think [name_f]Angelina[/name_f] is beautiful. <3
Angelina has elegance and brightness
I like it! Elegant, graceful and airy!!
It’s not for me, but if you love it, I wouldn’t let other people’s opinions away you.
Angelina is beautiful, and not overly frilly!
If it weren’t for [name_f]Angelina[/name_f] [name_f]Jolie[/name_f], I would think it was nice. I’m not a huge fan of the [name_u]Angel[/name_u]- names, but it would be fine. But that woman annoys me.
I think it’s pretty!
It’s a pretty name. I think it depends on where you live but I think there is a high probability that it would get shortened to [name_u]Angie[/name_u] when she is older, which is still nice, only something to consider.
I like [name_f]Angelina[/name_f], but it feels a little frilly to me. I prefer simple [name_f]Angela[/name_f], although I understand that does feel a little dated, or [name_f]Angelica[/name_f], which has a funkier sound to me.
Angelina I feel is stylistically similar to names like [name_f]Annabel[/name_f]/Annabelle, [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f], [name_f]Gabriella[/name_f], and [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f].
I think [name_f]Angelina[/name_f] is a nice name.
I have a very strong association with the mouse [name_f]Angelina[/name_f] [name_f]Ballerina[/name_f] but that’s not a bad thing at all and in fact, it was because of the program the I used to name all my dolls [name_f]Angelina[/name_f]; I was so besotted with it at the time.
It’s a nice name but not one I’m attracted to. Too fancy, too many syllables, feels inaccessible to me.
I loved it as a child and still love it. Unfotunately when, considering names for my daughters, it was howled down by everyone. Too out there at the time (1970’s).
