Honest opinions on the name [name_f]Delilah[/name_f]? I go back and forth. Her nickname would be [name_f]Lila[/name_f]. I really love the name [name_f]Lila[/name_f] but definitely would want a longer, more formal name that she could use as an option.
Open to other formal names that could be shortened to [name_f]Lila[/name_f]. If helpful, her sister’s name will be [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Emmy[/name_f]).
I love it! [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] is a beautiful name. There is a little girl in kindergarten this year named [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] and she’s so smart, funny, and helpful. She acts like a leader to the group.
I like it, especially with the nn [name_f]Lila[/name_f]! I think it goes well with [name_f]Emilia[/name_f]. They repeat that sweet vowel/L sound, but they’re still distinct enough to go together. I know there’s the famous biblical [name_f]Delilah[/name_f], but I think the name stands on its own apart from that story. It has definite charm.
I really love [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] with [name_f]Emilia[/name_f]! They share enough sound and style to link them subtly, while still being distinct from one another. And [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] itself is so cheerful and energetic. [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] & [name_f]Lila[/name_f] would be so sweet together!
I honestly quite dislike it. I think of the Biblical [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] first, which is a negative association, and then the radio show hostess, who is also a negative association at least for me because I find her quite tacky/annoying. I think [name_f]Lila[/name_f] can stand alone! [name_u]Or[/name_u] what about [name_f]Liliana[/name_f]? I think it fits well with [name_f]Emilia[/name_f].
