Is [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] a little try-hard or pretentious? My style is typically unusual/unexpected but I always have a meaning behind any given name especially the more obscure ones - whereas I just think [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] is fab. I think [name_m]John[/name_m] grounds him somewhat but I’m a little unsure still.
Would love to hear your immediate and honest reactions. Also, any suggestions for a middle (see my sig for style inspo) for [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] would be appreciated too. It’s one of my top names, but has been on my list for over 3 years without a permanent middle! Thanks x
^^Kramer from Seinfeld’s first name is [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m].
Anyway, I don’t mind [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m], but I’m not sure if I love [name_m]John[/name_m] [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] together because they share the same vowel sound. But I think [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] is usable. I’d like [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] alone, or [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] [name_m]Cosimo[/name_m] even better.
I think it’s awesome! Usually I prefer one syllable names at the end (unless the surname is one syllable too) to help with flow, but [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] [name_m]John[/name_m] [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] sounds pretty good regardless. I love the balance between the more classic, well known [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] and [name_m]John[/name_m] with the more unusual [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m]; it works really well!
Wow! I love the whole name. It’s absolutely gorgeous ” I would definitely stick with [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] [name_m]John[/name_m] [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] ”
[name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] isn’t normally my style but with [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] [name_m]John[/name_m] it actually lifts the
Combo and stops [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] [name_m]John[/name_m] being too classic, if that makes sense?
Basically what I am trying to say is that I really like it!
I like [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] [name_m]John[/name_m] ___ or ___ [name_m]John[/name_m] [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m], but I’m not loving [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] and [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] in the same combo. It seems a bit too mismatched for me.
I like [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m], I think it makes a great, unique middle name. If you are open to it I prefer the flow of [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] [name_m]John[/name_m] better.
Maybe [name_m]Cosimo[/name_m] is too long, but I think that’s manlier version of [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m]… it reminds me of stars, which I tend to think of as feminine.
I adore it! It’s lovely to look at and a joy to say. I don’t think there’s anything try-hard about [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m]. It has real potential! It might be slightly off-beat, but not any more so than [name_m]Otto[/name_m], [name_m]Oscar[/name_m], et al.
[name_u]Emmett[/name_u] [name_m]John[/name_m] [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] is really nice! I like [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m], [name_m]Cosimo[/name_m], and [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] a lot. I like the reference to the cosmos/space. Astronomy has a lot of meaning to me personally, and I love that these three remind me of the stars shining in all their brilliance on a quiet night. I generally dislike one-syllable names in the first mn spot–it just seems to mess with the flow to me–but [name_u]Emmett[/name_u], [name_m]John[/name_m], and [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] work so well together, and I sort of love the idea of [name_m]John[/name_m] [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] as a combo (despite the overuse of [name_m]John[/name_m] in my family tree that has left me feeling ambivalent at best toward the name!), and the quirk of [name_m]John[/name_m] [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] balances out with [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] really well. I like it a lot. I always think of your style as timeless, classic, and vintage (with an extra-healthy dose of quirk and international-dramatic. In a good way!), and I think [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] [name_m]John[/name_m] [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] suits that description perfectly!
