Honest thoughts on Maxine

My husband and I have our final list down to two it seems. I thought we had our name chosen with [name_f]Francine[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] but he prefers [name_f]Maxine[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]. [name_m]Both[/name_m] are good for me.

I had just posted a poll for the two names and [name_f]Francine[/name_f] came out ahead in the poll but there were more positive comments for [name_f]Maxine[/name_f].

So I would love to know your honest thoughts on the name [name_f]Maxine[/name_f]. Too many teasing options? Fun and spunky? Or too matchy with siblings? (Although not a major concern for me)

[name_f]Roxanne[/name_f] and [name_f]Vera[/name_f] are older sisters.

Personally, I dislike [name_f]Maxine[/name_f] (I really like [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] though). It just sounds dated/old to me. I prefer [name_f]Francine[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]. I would say either one is fine, but because [name_f]Roxanne[/name_f] is your other daughter, I don’t really like how both of them have the X sound in the first syllable. But choose the one you like better, it’s your daughter and she’ll have a lovely name no matter what.
