My husband and I are TTC and have been talking about potential names. If we have a son, we’d like to use a middle name that honors my husband ([name_m]Joseph[/name_m]) and my late brother ([name_m]David[/name_m]). Having 2 middle names is a possibility, but I would rather see if we can find a name that honors both of them.
So far, all I can come up with are [name_u]Jude[/name_u] and [name_f]Jade[/name_f] (both have the sounds of the first initials JD). Can you wonderful berries help? Thank you!
I know someone who goes by DJ so that could be potentially a middle name. Or maybe you can make his initials DJ/JD to honor them.
Other possible name suggestions along the same lines as yours are:
[name_m]Judd[/name_m]/[name_m]Judah[/name_m]/[name_m]Judas[/name_m]
[name_m]Jed[/name_m]/ [name_m]Jedidiah[/name_m]
[name_u]Jesse[/name_u]
[name_u]Jordan[/name_u]
[name_u]Jodi[/name_u] ([name_f]Edit[/name_f]: I like this since it’s a direct derivative of [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] and [name_m]David[/name_m] has both d and i in it)
Not sure if you are religious but [name_m]Joseph[/name_m](father of [name_m]Jesus[/name_m]) was a descendant of [name_m]David[/name_m] in the bible
This is tricky! Doesn’t really combine the names, but maybe you would like [name_u]Jericho[/name_u] or [name_m]Jarvis[/name_m].
Maybe consider a variation of either name? Or one with similar sounds?
[name_m]Dawson[/name_m]
[name_m]Davis[/name_m]
[name_m]Dawes[/name_m]
[name_u]Joey[/name_u]
[name_m]Jonah[/name_m]
[name_m]Jonas[/name_m]
