I adore honor names! One subtle honor I love are using people’s birthstones or birth month flowers as honor names. For example, to honor someone born in [name_u]October[/name_u], the names [name_f]Opal[/name_f] (Oct birthstone) and [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] (Oct birth flower) would be so so splendid.

Your list is really lovely. Those combos are especially sweet. I’m loving [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f], [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f], and [name_f]Bette[/name_f] [name_u]Louise[/name_u]. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: I’ll suggest:
[name_f]Annabeth[/name_f] (Ann and Elizabeth)
[name_f]Betsy[/name_f]
[name_u]Ellis[/name_u]
[name_f]Ella[/name_f]
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f]
[name_f]Ruthanne[/name_f] (Ruth and Ann)
[name_f]Jane[/name_f]
[name_u]Fifer[/name_u]
[name_f]Louella[/name_f] (Louise and Elizabeth)
[name_u]Jean[/name_u]
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
Bethie (Elizabeth and Ruthie)
[name_f]Margalo[/name_f] (Margaret and Louise)

I love this idea! My grandmother Louise passed away while I was pregnant with a baby girl. I named her Elouise to honor my grandmother, as well as my mother who had Louise as a middle name.

Ann

Lots of Ann names. Annie, Anna, Annabelle, Anwen, Andromeda

Betty/Elizabeth

Betty:

Beatrice/Beatrix

Elizabeth:

Lisbet

Jennifer
Juniper, like the old Donovan song Jennifer Juniper

Genevieve

Margaret

Lots of variations. Marguerite, Margo, Mary, etc

Lou/Louise
Elouise
Eloise
Louisa
Lou-Lou

Ruth/Ruthie:

Naomi is Ruth’s beloved mother-in-law in the Bible.
