Honor Naming Help

I was just wondering if anyone had some ideas for honoring a grandpa of mine that passed recently. His name is [name_m]William[/name_m], middle name [name_m]Kent[/name_m]. I like the idea of honoring him with a girl, since that’s different, however, I’m open to any names, regardless of gender.

I’ve seen [name_f]Willow[/name_f], but would love some other suggestions.

Thanks.

I think that’s a beautiful idea.

I’m not entirely sure whether you are after variations or names like [name_m]William[/name_m] and [name_m]Kent[/name_m].

  • [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f]
  • [name_f]Willette[/name_f]
  • [name_f]Wilma[/name_f]
  • [name_u]Billie[/name_u]
  • [name_f]Lia[/name_f] is in the name

Variations of [name_m]Kent[/name_m]:

  • [name_u]Kimberly[/name_u]
  • [name_f]Kate[/name_f]

  • [name_f]Kendra[/name_f]

Hopes this is useful. If not let me know. Good luck!

@musicwaves pretty much covered it. I’d also like to suggest Lilliam and [name_f]Kenna[/name_f] as additional ideas.

There’s also: [name_f]Winona[/name_f], Wilona, and [name_f]Winnifred[/name_f]!
I also love the idea of doing a name like [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f] with a nickname like [name_f]Mina[/name_f] or [name_f]Nina[/name_f].

I love the suggestion of [name_f]Willa[/name_f]!
