Honor?

What are your thoughts on the name [name_u]Honor[/name_u]? Is it sweet, or a bit jarring? I’ve heard of it being used where I live a handful of times, so it’s uncommon, but still familiar, but I’m not sure how wearable that really makes it?

Thank you!

I think it’s sweet! I would prefer it in the middle spot.

I like it! I agree with previous posters that I think it would work best in the middle spot, but I actually knew a girl called [name_u]Honor[/name_u] once and never thought much about it being unusual or hard to wear. It fit her very well.

I think it’s lovely in the middle spot but a little heard to wear as a first name

I really like [name_u]Honor[/name_u]. There’s something clear and bold about it

I like [name_u]Honor[/name_u], and it’s not as pushy as some other virtue names, like [name_f]Patience[/name_f] or [name_f]Modesty[/name_f]. While I like it in the middle spot, I think it would be a bold and determined statement as the first. Actress (and model I think?) [name_f]Jessica[/name_f] [name_f]Alba[/name_f]’s eldest is named [name_u]Honor[/name_u].

It’s one of the nicer virtue names; I prefer it in the middle spot.

I think it’s sweet, but I do find it unwearable unfortunately. I wouldn’t be able to wear this name, personally.

It’s a no from me.

I know an [name_u]Honor[/name_u]. It’s a boy tho. His twin is [name_f]Cherish[/name_f], a girl.

I really like it! It’s a good virtue name but not cheesy or something. I don’t find it hard to wear.
If you find it unwearable, [name_f]Honora[/name_f] is an option.

I’m actually a little surprised so many people find it unwearable as a first. It’s a good name I don’t see it as unwearable, not my personal style but I wouldn’t give it a second thought I feel I met somebody named [name_u]Honor[/name_u]. [name_f]My[/name_f] biggest problem with it is when said aloud it sounds similar to and it could Be confused with [name_f]Anna[/name_f] (prn. [name_m]Ah[/name_m]-na)

I had a friend growing up whose mother’s name was [name_f]Honora[/name_f]. I feel this is more feminine.
