Was hoping to find suggestions on how to honor a [name]Jeanne[/name] (Pronounced just like [name]Jean[/name]) without using “[name]Jeanne[/name]”, which I really can’t stand the sound of. Thanks!
You could just use [name]Anne[/name] or [name]Jean[/name].
[name]Gianna[/name], [name]Joan[/name], [name]Johanna[/name], or you could use her middle name or initials in honoring her.
just [name]June[/name]
Thanks all!
I actually like [name]Anne[/name] and didn’t really think of it, though it’s actually quite obvious now that it’s been pointed out! My fiance’s mother actually has no middle name, so that and initials can’t be done!
[name]Gianna[/name] is beautiful, but I don’t find it goes well with any of my other favorite names. [name]Johanna[/name] is a great idea as well. [name]Joan[/name] and [name]June[/name] come across as a little bit old lady to me (which is the same vibe I get from [name]Jeanne[/name]).
Thanks lots for the suggestions!
You could use [name]Jeanie[/name] or [name]Jeannie[/name].
My mom’s names is [name]Jeanine[/name] (ja-neen), but she always went by [name]Jeannie[/name] (jeany). Now she goes by [name]Jen[/name]. It’s close to [name]Jeanne[/name] but a little different.
[name]Jane[/name]? No one’s suggested [name]Jane[/name]? Am I missing something?
It doesn’t sound like [name]Jeanne[/name] to me. But, you just suggested it so it’s out there now.
I second [name]Jane[/name]. They’re both feminine forms of [name]John[/name].
[name]Jeana[/name] (pronounced just like [name]Gina[/name])
[name]Jane[/name]
[name]Janet[/name]
[name]Janette[/name]
[name]Jeanie[/name]
[name]Eugenie[/name]
[name]Anne[/name]
[name]Joan[/name]
[name]Joanna[/name]
[name]Jenny[/name]?
What about [name]Jenae[/name]? Gorgeous!
