Honoring Best Friend's Name Without Using That Name

My best friend’s name is [name_u]Peyton[/name_u] (female) and if I have a girl I would love to somehow name her after her. However, I don’t want the baby’s first or middle name to be [name_u]Peyton[/name_u]… it would be “too much” in my opinion. My other children’s names are [name_u]Kennedy[/name_u] (girl) and [name_m]Tanner[/name_m] (boy). I like unisex names, traditional/fancy names, and strong names. I do not like “made up names.”
Thanks in advance!

You could go with a name that has part of [name_u]Peyton[/name_u] or rhymes with [name_u]Peyton[/name_u].

[name_u]Paisley[/name_u] and [name_f]Paige[/name_f] have the same first sound.

Or you could go with a name that ends in -ton:
[name_f]Afton[/name_f]
[name_u]Ashton[/name_u]
[name_u]Brighton[/name_u]
[name_u]Easton[/name_u]
[name_u]Sutton[/name_u] — I really like this one for you

And [name_u]Leighton[/name_u] rhymes with [name_u]Peyton[/name_u] but looks substantially different, so it’s not “too much.”

Maybe a name that starts with P.

[name_u]Paisley[/name_u]
[name_u]Piper[/name_u]
[name_u]Presley[/name_u]
[name_f]Poppy[/name_f]
[name_u]Phoenix[/name_u]
[name_f]Persis[/name_f]
[name_f]Paige[/name_f]
Pipa
[name_f]Pixie[/name_f]

I second the suggestions of [name_f]Paige[/name_f] & [name_u]Leighton[/name_u]

I know a girl name [name_u]Paxton[/name_u]. Maybe that would work?
