[name_m]Hi[/name_m] berries.
my best friend (she might as well have been my sister) passed away [name_f]Monday[/name_f], and even though I’m nowhere near ready to have kids, I know when I have kids I want my first daughter to be named after her. her name is [name_f]Caitlyn[/name_f] [name_f]Alyse[/name_f].
I’ve known since I was little my first daughter will be [name_f]Samantha[/name_f], so I’m thinking [name_f]Samantha[/name_f] [name_f]Caitlyn[/name_f] but I’m not 100% sure. what do you guys think?

I’m a [name_f]Samantha[/name_f] and love my name so I’m very happy to see someone plan on using it [name_f]Samantha[/name_f] [name_f]Caitlyn[/name_f] sounds great and would be the most direct way to honor her but [name_f]Caitlyn[/name_f] and [name_f]Alyse[/name_f] have a lot of variations that would also work.
[name_f]Samantha[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]
[name_f]Samantha[/name_f] [name_f]Kathleen[/name_f]
[name_f]Samantha[/name_f] [name_f]Catarina[/name_f]
[name_f]Samantha[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f]
[name_f]Samantha[/name_f] [name_u]Allison[/name_u]
[name_f]Samantha[/name_f] [name_f]Callie[/name_f] also came to mind as a combo of [name_f]Caitlyn[/name_f] and [name_f]Alyse[/name_f].

I’m really sorry for your loss
[name_f]Samantha[/name_f] [name_f]Caitlyn[/name_f] is a lovely tribute to your friend and sounds good.
A few other ideas:
[name_f]Samantha[/name_f] [name_f]Carys[/name_f] (kind of combining [name_f]Caitlyn[/name_f] and [name_f]Alyse[/name_f] - but it also means love, which might be nice)
[name_f]Samantha[/name_f] [name_f]Catrin[/name_f]
[name_f]Samantha[/name_f] Kate/Cate
[name_f]Samantha[/name_f] Cailey/Cayley

I’m so sorry about your sister!
[name_f]Samantha[/name_f] [name_f]Caitlyn[/name_f] is cute but quite 80s/90s. But that’s not a bad thing, just something I noticed.
I think you could use these names to honor your sister:
[name_f]Alyssa[/name_f]
[name_f]Alyson[/name_f]
[name_f]Cailey[/name_f] (it sort of combines [name_f]Caitlyn[/name_f] and Alyse)
[name_u]Lynn[/name_u]
[name_f]Lynda[/name_f]
[name_f]Adalyn[/name_f]
[name_f]Alya[/name_f]
[name_f]Alyona[/name_f]
[name_f]Alysia[/name_f]
[name_u]Calypso[/name_u]
Kalyani
[name_f]Talya[/name_f]
[name_f]Caitria[/name_f]
[name_f]Caia[/name_f]
[name_u]Cailin[/name_u]
[name_m]Just[/name_m] tried to combine them a bit and find names that include parts of your sister’s name that you could use while still calling her something a bit different. [name_u]Or[/name_u] use [name_f]Caitlyn[/name_f] and [name_f]Alyse[/name_f] as middle names.
If you like [name_f]Samantha[/name_f]:
[name_f]Sienna[/name_f]
[name_f]Savannah[/name_f]
[name_f]Samara[/name_f]
[name_f]Samira[/name_f]
[name_f]Amandine[/name_f]
[name_f]Sarina[/name_f]
[name_f]Sharona[/name_f]
Sirona
[name_f]Serena[/name_f]
[name_f]Selena[/name_f]
[name_u]Sasha[/name_u]
[name_u]Shea[/name_u]
Maybe something like:
[name_f]Caia[/name_f] [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f]
[name_f]Caia[/name_f] [name_f]Alyse[/name_f]
[name_f]Sienna[/name_f] [name_u]Calypso[/name_u]
[name_f]Samantha[/name_f] [name_f]Alysia[/name_f]
[name_f]Alysia[/name_f] [name_f]Caitlyn[/name_f]
[name_f]Cailey[/name_f] [name_f]Samantha[/name_f]
