Honoring Grandma

I recently fell in love with the name [name]Sadie[/name], and it’s a name my fiance and I finally agree on. It kind of “sealed the deal” for future use when I realized it is a diminutive form of [name]Sarah[/name], which was his late grandmother’s name. I would like to honor our other grandmothers too, but I’m wondering which combination sounds better, if they are any other ways I can combine their names ([name]Mary[/name], [name]Grace[/name], and [name]Gwenyth[/name]) or if there are other forms of the names that could work. Is a double middle name too much, should I “save” names for other daughters?

[name]Sadie[/name] [name]Mary[/name]-[name]Grace[/name] [name]Page[/name]
[name]Sadie[/name] [name]Gwenyth[/name] [name]Grace[/name] [name]Page[/name]

I’m a little biased in saying that I don’t think you should do a double middle names- I’m not a big fan of this trend. But I also don’t think that those names really fit well together in one name. Soooo here are some suggestions!

[name]Mary[/name] + [name]Grace[/name] = [name]Maggie[/name]
[name]Mary[/name] + [name]Grace[/name] = [name]Mace[/name] (for a boy) or [name]Mason[/name] if you can handle the popularity
[name]Grace[/name] + [name]Mary[/name] = [name]Gray[/name] (boy or girl- works perfect for a middle name) [name]Sadie[/name] [name]Gray[/name]! Adorable!
[name]Grace[/name] + [name]Mary[/name] = [name]Graham[/name]
[name]Gwenyth[/name] + [name]Mary[/name] = [name]Gary[/name]…? outdated…not cute? probably.
[name]Mary[/name] + [name]Gwenyth[/name] = [name]Meredith[/name] ([name]Sadie[/name] and [name]Meredith[/name] would be super cute!)
[name]Mary[/name] + [name]Gwenyth[/name] = [name]Maren[/name] (the “en” from gwENyth)

I hope this helps!

I actually thought of [name]Sadie[/name] [name]Gray[/name] in the earlier stages, but one of my fiance’s male cousin’s middle name is [name]Grey[/name]. I also [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Graham[/name], but my fiance says it reminds him too much of graham crackers.

I love [name]Sadie[/name] [name]Grace[/name]. And yes, I think it’s better to save it for the possibility of other daughters.

I’m not a huge fan of double middle names. I’m also of the opinion that a new baby should get a new name, if you know what I mean. I think once you start going down the path of “If I honor this grandma, then I have to honor that one,” you could make yourself crazy. That said, [name]Margaret[/name] might be an amalgam of [name]Mary[/name], [name]Grace[/name] and [name]Gwenyth[/name]. You could even spell it Margareth. Also, could your fiance get behind [name]Graeme[/name]?
Good [name]Luck[/name]!

I love double middle names. Although, it is a tradition in my family. [name]Sadie[/name] [name]Mary[/name] [name]Grace[/name] is lovely! But I don’t like [name]Grace[/name] as a mn at all. I think it works in your combo, though.
