Hello Berries,
We have a [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] in our family tree that we’d like to honor, but we already have a little [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] in the family. Can you think of names that honor [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] that don’t start with “H”? I’m stuck at [name_f]Etta[/name_f] (which I love), just wondering what I"m missing. Thanks in advance!
I like [name_f]Etta[/name_f]!
[name_f]Rhea[/name_f] comes to mind.
[name_f]Etta[/name_f] is adorable! So cute, and totally relates to [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] without being too obscure. Very nice!
I went by [u]this 'site[/u] for some of the names. It’s like a family tree for the name [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] and all of its variations.
There’s the Dutch form, [name_f]Jetta[/name_f], with could be a really cool name. It’s meant to be pronounced “yet-ah” but I think it could totally work as “jet-ah”, if you’re into it. I adore [name_u]Jet[/name_u] / [name_m]Jett[/name_m].
Not related to [name_f]Harriet[/name_f], but [name_u]Ari[/name_u] might be able to work. Either as “ah-ree” or “air-ee” (to rhyme with [name_m]Harry[/name_m]).
The Italian form of [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] is [name_f]Enrica[/name_f]. [name_u]Ricky[/name_u] could be an adorable nickname. [name_f]Enrietta[/name_f] could work too, since it’s closer to [name_f]Harriet[/name_f].
[name_f]Retta[/name_f] is pretty. I also like [name_f]Rita[/name_f], though it’s a diminutive of [name_f]Marguerite[/name_f].
I also see [name_f]Addy[/name_f] on [u]this website[/u], which is kind of interesting. Reminds me of [name_f]Hattie[/name_f], but it’s different enough to be it’s own name.
I hope this gives you some options to consider
I’d just call her [name_f]Harriet[/name_f].
[name_f]Hattie[/name_f] is different
