Honoring Mary Frances & Mary Jane

My mother’s name was [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f] and my husband’s grandmother’s name was [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. Both passed away in the last 3 years and we want to give our first child (little girl!) a middle name to honor them. Obviously [name_f]Mary[/name_f] would be easiest but I want to do a sort of variant of [name_f]Mary[/name_f]. So I need suggestions. Or if there was a way to combine [name_f]Frances[/name_f] and [name_f]Jane[/name_f] ([name_f]Francine[/name_f]??) that would also work. Please help if you can

I think [name_f]Mary[/name_f] or [name_f]Francine[/name_f] would work well, and they’re pretty versatile as middle names.

Variants of [name_f]Mary[/name_f]:

[name_f]Maria[/name_f]
[name_f]Marie[/name_f]
[name_f]Margot[/name_f]
[name_f]Margaret[/name_f]
[name_f]Marilyn[/name_f]
[name_f]Marietta[/name_f]
[name_f]Mariana[/name_f]
[name_f]Maribel[/name_f]
[name_f]Marigold[/name_f]
[name_f]May[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]
[name_f]Maisie[/name_f]
[name_f]Marielle[/name_f]

[name_f]Maryjane[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f]? [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] is probably my favorite [name_f]Mary[/name_f] variation. Or you could pick a name you really like and give her [name_f]Mary[/name_f] as a middle to honor both.

[name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] and [name_f]Frances[/name_f] are all really great names. There’s a lot to work with there.

[name_f]Frances[/name_f] + [name_f]Jane[/name_f] = (besides francine)

(first name) (francesca) (june) She could have two middles.

(first name) (freyja) maybe [name_f]Maryanne[/name_f] Freyja? [name_u]Marion[/name_u]/[name_u]Marian[/name_u] [name_f]Francesca[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u]

Thanks for suggestions! [name_u]Love[/name_u] the name [name_u]Marion[/name_u] but my husband does not :frowning: Is it more common to give two middle names now?
