Honoring Parents

I posted previously about honoring my mom with our baby boy’s name. I had settled on Wade Elliott. The post is here for the full reasoning.

Sadly, my dad did not win his fight with Covid either and passed away yesterday morning. I told him we would name the baby for both of them and he would always know his grandparents (make sure there are gifts from them etc). They were both so excited to meet him.

I don’t want to remove either of the names I’d picked for my mom.

Is Wade Elliott Joseph too much? I really feel that I want to name him this even though it requires two middle names.

Wade Elliott Joseph is lovely, and definitely not too much. lots of people name their children two middle names. Additonally, Wade, Elliott, and Joseph are all short names, so the combo overall has great flow and looks nice. i think you should use it, given how much meaning it has

I am so deeply sorry about both of your parents, I can not even imagine what you are going through. Sending you thoughts and lots of hugs.

And no, [name_u]Wade[/name_u] [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_u]Joseph[/name_u] is not too much of a name. It has a beautiful flow and a touching meaning behind it. If this feels like the name for your baby boy, use it. It’s a truly gorgeous name!

I’m so sorry for your loss

[name_u]Wade[/name_u] [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] [name_u]Joseph[/name_u] sounds lovely -not too much

I’m so sorry for your loss. Sending you and your family thoughts and comfort during this difficult time. That being said, I think [name_u]Wade[/name_u] [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_u]Joseph[/name_u] is a beautiful tribute to your parents, and if it feels right to you, you should use it.

I personally am not a big fan of two middles, but good thing it’s not my baby right! [name_m]Even[/name_m] with that being said, I think [name_u]Wade[/name_u] [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] [name_u]Joseph[/name_u] actually flows really well and the meaning of honoring both your parents is worth it. If to you it feels like your baby boy’s name then use it!

[name_u]Wade[/name_u] [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] [name_u]Joseph[/name_u] sounds absolutely beautiful to me, and the meaning behind it is far more important than any concerns about length or flow. I have two middle names and my full name is much longer than this, and it’s never caused any problems at all.

I’m so very sorry for your losses. Sending very best wishes to your whole family

Definitely use both names! You won’t regret honoring family and two middles is no big deal anyway.
I’m so sorry for your loss. [name_u]Honor[/name_u] names are a beautiful way to pass on your parents’ memory.

I think [name_u]Wade[/name_u] [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] [name_u]Joseph[/name_u] is absolutely not too much. It’s a sweet idea and I’m sorry for your losses

I absolutely LOVE the addition of the classic name, [name_u]Joseph[/name_u], to the name you had already decided upon. It actually makes it better.
