Honoring Ursula

Hello! So I was thinking and as much as I love all my combos, I’d love to have some sentimental value in some! [name_f]My[/name_f] moms name is [name_f]Ursula[/name_f] and I was trying to think of some names for a middle that could honor her (I don’t want to use [name_f]Ursula[/name_f] directly). [name_f]Do[/name_f] you berries have any ideas?? Thank you

Edit: My mom’s birthstone is Peridot since she was born in August!

Another edit: Her name was Urszula but she changed it once she came over to America from Poland. Not sure if that gives some more middle name options!

Suki
Sula
Ursa

You could also use her middle name or something like her birth month or birth stone etc.

Or perhaps other names with a similar meaning … Andarta, Artula, Artio, Elberen, Helice …

there are a few sweet urs- names that could work. I can just imagine ursa or ursie in your combos! however, my favourite idea would be in using another bear name! perhaps one of these:

callisto
artis
oberon
auberon
bernadette

Hi there.

I’ve always thought that [name_f]Ursula[/name_f] nn [name_f]Lula[/name_f] is really fun. So, maybe [name_f]Lula[/name_f] as a mn?

Maybe something playing off of the meaning bear? For a boy you could use [name_m]Bear[/name_m], [name_m]Arthur[/name_m], [name_u]Teddy[/name_u], [name_m]Bjorn[/name_m], [name_u]Auberon[/name_u], [name_m]Espen[/name_m], [name_m]Orson[/name_m], [name_u]Barrett[/name_u], [name_m]Torben[/name_m], [name_m]Benno[/name_m], [name_m]Dov[/name_m], [name_m]Urso[/name_m], [name_u]Artis[/name_u]

For a girl: [name_m]Espen[/name_m], [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] “[name_u]Teddy[/name_u]”, [name_f]Winnie[/name_f], [name_f]Bernadette[/name_f], [name_u]Artis[/name_u], [name_u]Garcia[/name_u]

What is mom’s middle name? That could also be a great way to honor her as well without directly using her first name. For example, if she is [name_f]Ursula[/name_f] [name_f]Christine[/name_f], your daughter could be [name_f]Emily[/name_f] [name_f]Christine[/name_f].

She doesn’t have a middle name!

Sula [name_f]Augusta[/name_f] or [name_f]Dottie[/name_f] Ursaline maybe.

I would recommend using [name_u]August[/name_u] as maybe a middle name as a way to honor your mom and the month she was born

Or does she have a maiden name that could be used?

I’m not sure how it suits your style, but I recently came across Urska, a Slovene diminutive of [name_f]Ursula[/name_f]. I think it darling.

I think [name_f]Peridot[/name_f] or [name_u]August[/name_u] would be absolutely lovely names.

Orson seems to be connected to/has the same origins as [name_f]Ursula[/name_f], so if you’re looking for a boy honour I think that one’s great.
