Honouring Grandmother

[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] has run in my family for generations. And whilst I absolutely love my name ([name_u]Stacey[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]), I’m considering not passing down the name to my baby #2 if she is a girl.

My late Grandmothers birth name was [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and id love to honour her in some way. She meant so much to me and actually delivered me when my mum had an unexpected home birth.

Her full birth name was [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] ([name_u]Lisa[/name_u]) [name_u]Campbell[/name_u] [name_u]Kennedy[/name_u] McGowan [name_m]Davidson[/name_m].
Is there anyway I can come up with a different middle name?

Thank you

Did your grandmother have a nickname? Perhaps you could use that as a middle name.

Maybe you could use variations of [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. [u]This[/u] list might give you a few ideas. My favorites among those listed there are [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], [name_f]Bella[/name_f], [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f], [name_f]Elsa[/name_f], [name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_f]Elise[/name_f], [name_f]Elspeth[/name_f], [name_f]Isle[/name_f], and Liesle.

Another suggestion would be names derived from your grandmother’s nickname [name_u]Lisa[/name_u]. As I said, Liesle is a nice variation of [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. There’s also [name_f]Lisette[/name_f], if that works for you.

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.

name was*[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]([name_u]Lisa[/name_u])CampbellKennedyMcGowan[name_m]Davidson[/name_m].

[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] is a variation of [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and could honour [name_u]Campbell[/name_u] too

[name_f]Camille[/name_f] could honour [name_u]Campbell[/name_u] - [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Camille[/name_f]?

[name_f]Betsy[/name_f], [name_f]Libby[/name_f] , [name_f]Beth[/name_f], [name_f]Liza[/name_f], [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], [name_f]Betty[/name_f], [name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Effie[/name_f], [name_f]Liesel[/name_f] and [name_u]Billie[/name_u] are all names that are derived or share origins with [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]

From nn [name_u]Lisa[/name_u], [name_f]Annalise[/name_f] might work

[name_f]Mckenna[/name_f] is honour McGowan and [name_u]Kennedy[/name_u]?

Some more ‘creative’ ideas
Daisy (for Davdison - Daisy Addison even)
Morgan (for McGowan)
Carys (same beginning as Campbell, means love and Davidson/David means beloves)
Mabel (as a sound on Campbell)
Eloise (shares beginning and sounds of Elizabeth)
Elodie (shares beginning of Elizabeth and sounds of Kennedy)

I hope that’s kind if what you wanted
Sorry if I misread the post!

Of her full name, I think [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_u]Lisa[/name_u], [name_u]Campbell[/name_u], and [name_u]Kennedy[/name_u] are all good middles on their own, but some names with the same meaning, derivatives, etc. that may work for you are:

[name_f]Bella[/name_f]
[name_f]Beth[/name_f]
[name_f]Betsy[/name_f]
[name_f]Elisa[/name_f]
[name_f]Elise[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f]
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f]
[name_f]Elspeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Isabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Isabella[/name_f]
[name_f]Isle[/name_f]
[name_f]Libby[/name_f]
[name_f]Liesel[/name_f]
[name_f]Lisette[/name_f]
[name_f]Lisetta[/name_f]
[name_f]Lissa[/name_f]
[name_f]Liza[/name_f]
[name_f]Liz[/name_f]

I would use [name_u]Campbell[/name_u] in the middle!
