[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] has always been a favourite of mine but I don’t want a [name_f]Hope[/name_f] and a [name_f]Hazel[/name_f]. Which one does everyone prefer?
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f]. 100%
Anyone else??
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f]. I’m not a fan of virtue names
I prefer [name_f]Hope[/name_f], also like Hopie. I want to love [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] but it just makes me think of the eye color (and irises) and witch hazel.
[name_f]Hope[/name_f]. It’s timeless and meaningful. I like [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] but it’s super trendy at the moment and just doesn’t hold the same weight for me.
Definitely [name_f]Hazel[/name_f].
I find virtue names to be rather fluffy.
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] is a favorite of mine. As for [name_f]Hope[/name_f], well virtue names are so bland and boring nowadays.
I prefer [name_f]Hazel[/name_f]. [name_f]Hope[/name_f] is nice and not as trendy but it doesn’t grab me personally. [name_f]Verity[/name_f] is my fave virtue name. In fact [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f]Verity[/name_f] is on my list!
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f]. Totally.
I think the Z gives it quite a bit of spunk, esp with NN Haz.
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] sounds to me far too ‘little girl who can’t stand up for herself’. The only women I’ve met called [name_f]Hope[/name_f] I’ve thought deserved a name with a bit more IN it.
I agree with this.
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] is nice, but I much prefer [name_f]Hazel[/name_f].
My vote goes to [name_f]Hazel[/name_f]. I think it’s definitely fine to have a [name_f]Hope[/name_f] and a [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] though, they’re not similar at all except for the first letter- of course if you just don’t like them together that’s a different matter.
I prefer [name_f]Hazel[/name_f]. [name_f]Hope[/name_f] sees rather dated now . it’s also used on soaps too much
[name_f]Hope[/name_f]! But I have a 7 y/o niece named [name_f]Hope[/name_f] & a great Aunt (who isn’t very nice) named [name_f]Hazel[/name_f], so I’m definitely biased here.
Hopping on the [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] train! It’s on my list =]
I agree about the virtue names being bland. [name_f]Hope[/name_f] is not a name to me. It’s a word.
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] definitely
I love both, but I think [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] is less popular, which is a plus!
Thanks for the replies everyone. Anyone else?
I vote [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] too.
