I like easy to say and spell names and prefer names not in the top 200. Our list today…

I am seriously feeling like this baby is supposed to be named [name]Dex[/name] and came across the name [name]Decker[/name] today…and i think I like it. wdyt? My DH is leaning toward [name]Jesse[/name] but i am getting bothered by hearing [name]Jess[/name], [name]Jessie[/name], [name]Jesse[/name] all the time whenever i turn on the TV. I think I might regret naming him that even though I do like it.

I think that I prefer the name [name]Dex[/name] out of your choices, but I like [name]Dexter[/name] better. Perhaps you could name him [name]Dexter[/name] [name]Scout[/name] and call him [name]Dex[/name]? I agree with you that [name]Jesse[/name] is getting a little too popular, and I also think that it doesn’t quite fit with [name]Dash[/name] and [name]Mack[/name]. The ‘ck’ in [name]Mack[/name] and the ‘ck’ in [name]Decker[/name] make them sound a little too similar for my taste, but I do like [name]Decker[/name] by itself. The same goes for [name]Beckett[/name]. I think that [name]Cruz[/name] and [name]Van[/name] would both work well with your other sons’ names, but they aren’t my personal favorites. Best of luck!
I like [name]Van[/name] best with [name]Dash[/name] and [name]Mack[/name]. [name]Jesse[/name] seems a bit dated to me and just really different than his brothers’ names. I do also love [name]Beckett[/name] but thinking the temptation would be to call him [name]Beck[/name] and [name]Mack[/name] and [name]Beck[/name] seem pretty close. [name]Decker[/name] makes me think double-decker. I also think there is a risk that [name]Dex[/name]'s name will sound like [name]Dash[/name]'s and [name]Mack[/name]'s name combined. I think [name]Campbell[/name] would make a great first name. Camp would be an endearing nickname.
From your list I would choose [name]Decker[/name] or [name]Dex[/name]. I think they sound the best with your other boy’s names. [name]Jesse[/name] is way too popular in my opinion and it seems like here lately there are a lot of little girl [name]Jesse[/name]'s running around too.
[name]Dash[/name], [name]Dex[/name]/[name]Decker[/name], and [name]Mack[/name] seem a bit too similar to me…I also agree that [name]Beck[/name] and [name]Mack[/name] are a bit matchy and that [name]Jesse[/name] feels a bit dated (though I think of Full House’s Uncle [name]Jesse[/name] and still swoon a little!). I like [name]Van[/name] and [name]Cruz[/name] best, but prefer [name]Van[/name] because [name]Cruz[/name] feels trendy and on the rise where [name]Van[/name] is just cool and underused. I like that it doesn’t share sounds with the other names, too. I think [name]Crew[/name], [name]Gray[/name], and [name]Vaughn[/name] would be nice with [name]Mack[/name] and [name]Dash[/name], too.
I prefer [name]Cruz[/name]. I think it fits well with the other names without being too matchy. I do also have a soft spot for [name]Van[/name], it’s my fiance’s middle name
I am biased because my brother’s name is [name]Jesse[/name], though I am not sure he likes it as well. He says he has a ‘girl’s name.’ It isn’t a girl’s name but girls do have that name :/. Anyway, I like [name]Dexter[/name] nn [name]Dex[/name]!!
