I had this name suggested to me recently and I have been thinking about it since. Yes, I know it may seem too old-fashioned for a lot of people, but I think it’s lovely! I love the sunrise imagery and it’s simple but beautiful sound.
So, what do you think about [name_f]Dawn[/name_f]?

I like it! I think some people will find it dated but I think it’s very pretty and sweet, and has lovely imagery!

I want to love [name_f]Dawn[/name_f], but it does sound very middle aged to me - very much like [name_f]Jennifer[/name_f] or [name_u]Stacy[/name_u]. 
But perhaps meeting a little girl by the name would change my mind!

I know (of) a 10 year old [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] so maybe that’s why did doesn’t sound old fashioned to me

I love that name! Some may see it as old-fasioned, but it’s rarely used nowadays, so she’d be less likely to be confused with someone else.

I like [name_f]Dawn[/name_f]! [name_m]Even[/name_m] though it could feel a little dated at this point, I’ve always thought that it’s very sweet and bright!

I have a friend with a hyphenated first name (think x-Dawn). She’s in her mid-30s now, so it’s always made me think of her, and The Baby-Sitter’s Club (which I adored as a kid) has a [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] as well. She was one of my favourite characters, so it’s a good association.

I’ve always liked [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] and wondered when it became dated! It has beautiful imagery and has been used in pop culture (Babysitters Club; [name_f]Buffy[/name_f] the Vampire Slayer - ok I guess these are older references but still!). I think [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] just got way more popular but now that [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] is very common maybe [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] will get its well deserved comeback. I really love [name_f]Dawn[/name_f].

I think [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] is gorgeous! I think it peaked in popularity in the early seventies so it did feel dated for a little while, but like the older names that are now super popular I think [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] will have a resurgence.
