[name]Ive[/name] decided Athénaïs might be too hard to prn, I havent completely ruled it out but I like Béatrice almost just as much however my husband doesn’t like it at all. I would really like to use josephine Béatriceas an alternative. It would honor my great grandmother which I really like. What do you berries think of the name and what’s the best way to get him on board with this combo? I’m thinkIng we might TTC in the next year and really want to preplan!
I had the same conversation with my husband over this name. I love it, but he thought it was too old lady.
Here are the things that sold him:
- As a baby/child there are many cute nicknames which can be used. For an adult Béatrice is feminine and serious, yet not stuffy.
- Its easily pronounced in multiple languages.
- There are no crazy cultural associations.
- [name]Young[/name] kids will be hard pressed to make an insult out of it on the playground.
[name]Hope[/name] this helps.
That helps so much! I don’t know why but I feel the need to have names licked out before pregnancy. I’m not saying I wouldn’t be open to changing them but I jet feel like I want to have this name to use during pregnancy for some reason.
Thanks so much!
