I’m due in [name_f]September[/name_f] with our fourth child. We have a boy, [name_u]Noah[/name_u] [name_m]Andrew[/name_m], and two girls, [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] and [name_f]Stella[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. This one is a total surprise so we didn’t have any names we saved and we’re having a hard time agreeing on any names. The one name I love is [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], but my husband insists that [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] is too close to [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]. I see his point, but I’m also super sad at the idea of not using the only name I’m really crazy about at this point.
What do you think, are [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] just too close to have in the same family? Not sure if it matters, but those two girls will be 10 years apart so not really operating in the same social circles, but obviously in the same family circle!
Our only other agreed upon name is [name_f]Clara[/name_f] which I’m quite fond of, but doesn’t capture my heart like [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]!
It’s very close. Too close? I think so, but that may change if I knew sisters by those names.

I imagine they’d survive, but to my ear, they are too close for sisters. [name_f]Clara[/name_f] would sound much better with [name_u]Noah[/name_u], [name_f]Sophie[/name_f], and [name_f]Stella[/name_f] [name_f]IMO[/name_f].
I agree with the above, have you thought about [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]? That would give you both names, you could even call her both if you wanted and they are gorgeous together.
