How did you decide?

Me and hubby have been trying to find the perfect names for our triplets (we do not know the genders). But we can’t seem to commit to the same names for very long! For a long while- it was the girls names we were having trouble with but now we got it all sorted out and seemed to be very committed to what we have.

Now it’s the boys names! At first we had: [name]Damon[/name] [name]Jeremy[/name], [name]Lucian[/name] [name]Tobias[/name] and [name]Aurelio[/name] [name]Zane[/name]- now we have [name]Damon[/name] (no middle yet), [name]Zane[/name] (no middle yet) and [name]Jeremy[/name] (no middle yet). And NOW we are thinking of a new boy’s name: [name]Kai[/name]…does the madness never end??? :frowning:

[name]How[/name] long did it take you to find your perfect name/s? Did you change your mind a lot on the name/s?

I would also like to know what you think of [name]Kai[/name] for a boy’s name?

Thanks!

My son’s name is [name]Kai[/name]. Everyone that hears his name absolutely loves it. Most people had not heard it before, which was surprising to me since it’s ranked in the 200’s. Sometimes people mistake it for “[name]Kyle[/name]” or “[name]Ty[/name]” but for the most part, people seem to pronounce and spell it correctly. I’m still so happy that we chose it- it really was the perfect name for him. I think I was about 5 months pregnant when we had finally decided on [name]Kai[/name], but we had been discussing names before we were even married

Well I’m like basically due any day and I think we settled on the name [name]Levi[/name] [name]James[/name] like just a few days ago. It took a long time because I am very indecisive but then again I knew it was a boy. You are pregnant with triplets! Congrats! I like the name [name]Kai[/name]. I know a little boy named [name]Kai[/name]! What about [name]Zane[/name] [name]Hudson[/name] and [name]Damon[/name] [name]Chase[/name]. Or [name]Damon[/name] [name]Quinn[/name]. But I don’t know what kind of names you like so…

I didn’t decide my son’s name till the day after he was born  We went back and forth a lot. Toward the end of my pregnancy, I decided to pick one name on my list (or in your case 3  and use it all day whenever I referred to my son. There were some I could get rid of right away (like [name]Reed[/name]) because they were too much like words I use every day. Or some that were kind of hard to say without my tongue getting twisted (like with [name]Brennan[/name]). Good luck! I’m sure you’ll love whatever you choose once it is attached to one of your little ones. I really like [name]Damon[/name], [name]Zane[/name], [name]Jeremy[/name], and [name]Kai[/name]. You could always go into the delivery armed with those choices and see what fits.

I’ve been 50/50 with my naming experiences thus far. With my first daughter we changed it around all 9 months. Ultimately I had three names to choose from at the hospital after she was born: [name]Ava[/name], [name]Mia[/name], [name]Dulcea[/name]. I really wanted to use [name]Dulcea[/name] but I couldn’t think of a great middle name to go with it so I used it as a middle name with [name]Ava[/name]. When the doctor saw her name after she was hospitalized for jaundice he pronounced [name]Dulcea[/name] differently than me, and I loved his pronunciation better. I was so mad. But it didn’t matter, because in the end I gave my daughter a name I loved, and still love. And in the end I think you should try to pick the name you would regret not using because you know you love it. I haven’t gone wrong once that way. We went on to use [name]Mia[/name] for our second daughter.

The only reason naming my second son was hard was because of my family tearing each and every name to shreds, so I would avoid that at all costs.
