[name_m]How[/name_m] do you feel about [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] nn [name_f]Aggie[/name_f]?
[name_f]Agnes[/name_f] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]
I love [name_f]Agnes[/name_f]! I am not sure about the nn [name_f]Aggie[/name_f] but the name itself is beautiful. They make a good combination with [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] too.
It works. I think [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] is a better fit with your girls. The ultimate would be [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] [name_f]Agnes[/name_f].
[name_f]Agnes[/name_f] and [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] are both names that I have been trying to like but just can’t get there 100%. I like the idea of them. I like [name_f]Louise[/name_f] much better than [name_f]Louisa[/name_f].
I love [name_f]Agnes[/name_f]. It’s beautiful and sophisticated, its perfectly with your girls. What about [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]? I think [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] is extremely pretty, but also there are a lot of vowels and ‘s/z’ sounds. [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] would be sweet, too, if you felt like adding an extra middle this time!
[name_f]Agnes[/name_f] is lovely, very vintage-chic, but the nickname [name_f]Aggie[/name_f] feels frumpy and granny-like to me. [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] is charmingly elegant and dainty in an old-fashioned way; it feels like she would be invited to tea with characters from a [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Maud[/name_f] [name_m]Montgomery[/name_m] or [name_f]Frances[/name_f] [name_m]Hodgson[/name_m] [name_m]Burnett[/name_m] novel. Given that [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] and [name_f]Aggie[/name_f] are the same length in both letter and syllable count, I don’t really get using one as a nickname for the other. Both the Agneses I’ve known went by their full names.
I love it. [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] and [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] are two of my favourite names, and they make a great pair. I’ve always loved [name_f]Agnes[/name_f]. If our son had been a boy, he may well have been [name_f]Agnes[/name_f]. I might still use it in the future, if we ever have a daughter.
[name_f]Aggie[/name_f] is a cute nickname. I’m not sure I’d use it myself, but it’s fine.
I love the name [name_f]Agnes[/name_f]! It goes very well with your other children’s names too. I prefer [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] to [name_f]Aggie[/name_f] but since all of your other daughters have nicknames I can see why you would want to keep that tradition going! Probably the only reason I’m not the biggest fan of it anyway is that my name is [name_f]Maggie[/name_f] so [name_f]Aggie[/name_f] always sounds like it’s missing something to me but obviously that’s not the case for everyone.
On paper I love [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] but when I said it out loud a couple times it felt like they blended together like “[name_f]Agne[/name_f] Slouisa”, so I would say try out a couple other combos too but if you decide you like [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] the best then go for it! They are both great names.
