Sorry! Meant to spell it as Cylus!!! Oy!
DH and I are pretty firm on Cylus or Silus (is the usual spelling). I prefer Cylus because I like the obvious nn Cy.
Only trouble is, I can already hear people going “Cylus??” with their faces turned up. I know I cant let that deter me but I know how friends and family can be with their opinions.
Any positives or negatives?

Sigh-lis. its a boys name. Usually it is spelled [name]Silus[/name].
I don’t like Cylis at all. It just looks like some kind of prescription drug. [name]Silas[/name], on the other hand, is a really nice name! I think it would be just fine to spell it the regular way. [name]Si[/name] looks cool as a nn, but you could also write [name]Cy[/name] even if you spell it [name]Silas[/name]. [name]Just[/name] as a note, [name]Silas[/name] and [name]Riley[/name] do sound quite similar so that might get a little confusing.
