I actually found myself thinking of this name today and each time I do it makes me smile. Could this be a sign?
Well, that’s a good sign! That’s exactly how the right name should make you feel. That’s just how I feel about my daughter’s name
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f] is sweet, soft, and lovely. She’d fit right in with other vintage favourites, and stand out from many trendier choices.
I really love [name_f]Mabel[/name_f], I find it utterly charming. It’s such a cozy yet not frumpy name, it reminds me of mild summer days, wildflower fields and a careless childhood.
It’s sort of “[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] - but in summer”. [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] reminds me of Autums and hot chocolate, warm pudding and cozy blankets in big armchairs around the fireplace. [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] has that same homey vibe, just lighter, more summery.
I love [name_f]Mabel[/name_f]! She sounds so fresh, and at the same time so down to [name_f]Earth[/name_f]. No messing with her! She’s a charming girl who grows up smart, a bit sassy, and motivated.
I’d love a [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] of my own
I think [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] is lovely, old style but very sweet. It always reminds me of the Pirates of Penzance.
Not a fan. Sorry
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f] is warm and sweet, and if it makes you smile so easy, that’s a great sign. Definitely the sort of thing you want in your child’s name.
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f] is beautiful. So soft and warm and summery. It’s got a vintage-y feel without being overtly old fashioned and unusable. I think it would age well and be beautiful on a baby all the way through adulthood.
It’s pretty nice, but I prefer [name_f]Amabel[/name_f]. [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] is unusable for me due to my native language, but I do see the appeal. And the meaning… love the meaning “lovable”.
I find [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] very sweet and charming. Nice sound when you say it.
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f] is lovely, but I personally prefer [name_f]Amabel[/name_f].
I love it! I thinks it’s lovely and sweet
I didn’t use to like this name but it’s grown on me! I think it could create cute nicknames and suit any age, so it’s definitely usable, and the smile is a good sign!
Sorry this is one vintage name that doesn’t appeal to me.
I think its adorable! I love it.
Sounds like a good sign if it always makes you smile
As far as my personal opinion on [name_f]Mabel[/name_f], I’m a bit torn. I know a [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] who is in her 50s and is truly an amazing woman, wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and educator. Her grace and warmth make me associate that with the name itself. However, there is something about it that I do not like. Maybe it’s the sound? I don’t know. I prefer [name_f]Maple[/name_f]. That’s just me though. There really isn’t anything wrong with the name!
I’m so happy that [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] got so many praises, she is currently my favorite for a baby girl.
I see the appeal in [name_f]Mabel[/name_f], but it’s too old-lady for me.
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f] is sweet and lovely. I like it.
I work with babies and toddlers and we have a [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] (and a Maybee?) and I assure you it’s perfectly lovely name for a child.
