How do you feel about the name [name_u]Hudson[/name_u]?

I lump it with [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] often because they’re similar in sound. Makes me think of [name_f]Kate[/name_f] [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] and the [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] [name_u]River[/name_u]! Which aren’t bad associations but definitely come to mind.

I personally gravitate towards softer sounding male names with lots of vowels so it’s not for me but it isn’t a bad name!! If you like it keep it on your list :blush:

I love [name_u]Hudson[/name_u]! It’s becoming quite popular but other than that it’s adorable:)

I honestly don’t love it. I can see the appeal in that it’s a little bit cowboy-y & friendly. But the ‘Hud’ part just sounds a bit frumpy to me. And I mainly don’t care for [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] because it’s very popular in my area. And it feels trendy rather than an over done classic like [name_u]Henry[/name_u] or [name_u]Oliver[/name_u]. I hear those just as much, but still like them since they’re more old fashioned.

To be honest, [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] is one of the few ‘trendy’ names that I actually really like – It reminds me of the river and thus gives me a calm, soft, and peaceful yet strong vibe.

hudson is so handsome!

i often gravitate toward names ending in -son, because i think they’re historic and lovely, and another plus is the nickname “sonny”! i had hudson on my list for a while, but i now i prefer him as a middle.

It’s okay, not really my favorite. I mainly think of the [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] [name_u]River[/name_u], so I don’t really think of it as a name.
