Another list of names I had no idea were used on girls! Rate them, comment, criticize, rant, whatever.
[name_m]Andrew[/name_m]
[name_m]Brandon[/name_m]
[name_m]Felix[/name_m]
[name_u]Jasper[/name_u]
[name_u]Oliver[/name_u]
[name_m]Vincent[/name_m] (Edna St. Vincent!)
All of these names are masculine through and through to me, but [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] on a girl is weirdly intriguing.

I can imagine Jasper on a girl (partly due to the children’s book My Jasper June), but my first thought will always be male.
I can’t see any others on girls, except for perhaps Oliver at a stretch?

I actually LOVE [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] for a girl, I love it. The rest I don’t like, though I can see [name_m]Felix[/name_m] working on the right person (I’ve seen a daughter of a celebrity named [name_m]Phelix[/name_m], don’t remember who though)
No. Can’t see any on girls
Nope, don’t like any of these on girls.
The only one I can picture is [name_u]Jasper[/name_u]. I think because gemstone names are often used on girls and the -er ending is fashionable for both sexes at the moment. I definitely prefer it for a boy but wouldn’t be too surprised to see it used on a girl.
Can’t get my head around any of the others though, especially [name_m]Andrew[/name_m]!

I can see only Jasper on a girl. And you are right, @ethelmary, @minxtruck & @katinka, the rest all seem masculine and it would be weird for me to hear them on a girl!

I could see [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] or [name_u]Oliver[/name_u] on a girl. [name_f]My[/name_f] favorite is probably [name_u]Oliver[/name_u]!
