[name_f]Lark[/name_f] - adore it! It’s so quirky and cool. Probably my favorite bird name out there (although I love [name_f]Wren[/name_f], as well!).
[name_f]Mavis[/name_f] - meh. I don’t like it at all, tbh. It feels very frumpy and old fashioned.
[name_f]Clementine[/name_f] - I like it, but probably would never use it. Unless I adopted a golden retriever. For some reason, I have always thought I’d name a dog [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] if it was a girl.
[name_f]Paloma[/name_f] - I like it, but don’t love it.
[name_f]Lux[/name_f] - I like it more than [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], and [name_f]Luz[/name_f], but in all likelihood, I’ll never use it. I don’t even know that I’d be excited about meeting a little [name_f]Lux[/name_f]. It’s a nice name; it just doesn’t do anything for me.
[name_f]Eulalie[/name_f] - this is one of those that I think is cool in American English, but when it’s put back in its original [name_m]French[/name_m] perspective, it’s just not as attractive at all. In [name_m]French[/name_m], it’s pronounced oo-lah-lee, which I don’t like anywhere near as much as you-lay-lee.
[name_f]Liesl[/name_f] - I love The Sound of [name_f]Music[/name_f], but I just can’t get into [name_f]Liesl[/name_f]. I love the original [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f], though!
[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] - love. I would only ever use it as a MN, and I’m not terribly keen on its nns ([name_f]Bea[/name_f], [name_f]Betty[/name_f]/[name_f]Betsy[/name_f], and [name_f]Trixie[/name_f]), but I do love it as a name, and have considered it as a middle several times!
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] - I’m sorry; I’m just really sick of hearing [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]. If I would have seen the appeal of it in the first place, I might be excited every time I see it on some [name_u]Berry[/name_u]'s list, but I hear [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] bantered about everywhere, and I’m just so tired of it. I don’t get it, and it seems overplayed. I like [name_f]Elodie[/name_f], [name_f]Elise[/name_f], and [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] all much more.
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f] - I do like this, though. [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] is sweet and so Italian/British, and really in style and fun. I would love to meet a little [name_f]Gemma[/name_f].
