Recently the name [name]Norine[/name] has popped into my radar? What do you fellow berries think?
Yay, nay?
Is it sweet or futsy?
Better as a first name or middle?
It’s one of those names for me if it had family meaning I could see using it, but I just get a really “country” feel from it. And I’m not sure why!
It has family significance for me, so I’ve always considered using it (mostly because it would make my mom incredibly happy, since she was close to the family member with the name). I don’t think I would use it if it weren’t for the family tie.
I find it interesting and underused.
Weird when I first answered this thread the name in question was Nadine. Now it is Norine? I like Nadine, but Norine not so much.
Yay! It’s such a refreshing name. I’d love to meet a little girl named [name]Nadine[/name]!
I think spellcheck switched my name—I meant norine!
[name]Don[/name]'t like it it has a whiny sound
In that case, no. [name]Norine[/name] doesn’t sound pretty to me at all!
Oh Yes…[name]Norine[/name] way better! If you’re not crazy crazy over it, [name]Nora[/name] would be a cute nn!
[name]Norine[/name] / [name]Noreen[/name] was reasonably popular in Australia in the 80s and it’s not to my personal taste. I agree with an above poster that [name]Nadine[/name] is much prettier
It reminds me of the recent remake of Hairspray. (With the line up of everyone ans the last twins say their names, “[name]Norine[/name], [name]Dorine[/name]”.)
