How do you get to...

I have a few nn that I love but I can’t find ways to get to them that I love as much, if you know what I mean. So…

[name]How[/name] do you get to [name]Sam[/name] (girl) without [name]Samantha[/name]?

[name]How[/name] do you get to [name]Cassie[/name] (girl) without [name]Cassandra[/name]?

[name]How[/name] do you get to [name]Sara[/name] with a full, longer name?

I’m sure I’ll think of more but I’d be interested to see how people answer these. Thanks:)

[name]Sam[/name] - [name]Samara[/name] (I actually really like this)

[name]Cassie[/name] - [name]Cassia[/name] (one of my favorites actually, I went looking for a name that could get the nickname [name]Cassie[/name] but wasn’t very popular. [name]Even[/name] though I love [name]Cassandra[/name], I love [name]Cassia[/name] more), [name]Cassiopeia[/name], [name]Cassidy[/name]

[name]Sara[/name] - Sarin (saw it on a TV show), [name]Seraphina[/name] (love [name]Sera[/name]/[name]Sara[/name] as a nickname for this)

Samaire* (Sa-MEER-uh)

[name]Sarina[/name]* - [name]Sari[/name] or [name]Sara[/name] work

Good luck!

Thanks! I really like [name]Samara[/name] for [name]Sam[/name] and [name]Sarafina[/name]/[name]Seraphina[/name] (but prefer the [name]Sarafina[/name] spelling) for [name]Sara[/name]. I’m curious about [name]Cassia[/name], how is it pronounced?

The correct pronunciation of [name]Cassia[/name] is kash-uh, in the way that [name]Cassius[/name] should be pronounced kash-us.

However, just as [name]Cassius[/name] seems to have now adopted a more Anglicized pronunciation of cass-ee-us, [name]Cassia[/name] has too (cass-ee-ah).

I prefer kash-uh.

Another option for [name]Cassie[/name] is [name]Catherine[/name].

Yes, I prefer kash-uh too. Interesting that [name]Cassie[/name] is considered a nn for [name]Catherine[/name] too, I’ve always loved [name]Catherine[/name] but prefer it spelt [name]Katherine[/name]. Thanks guys:)
