How do you prefer to pronounce Emmeline?

My daughter is Emm-uh-leen. In my experience there’s a bit of a UK/US divide in the pronunciation. In the UK most people (85%) who have encountered my daughter have pronounced her Emm-uh-leen, which is helped by [name]Emmeline[/name] Pankhurst and her place in British history. But on this forum which is clearly more US orientated [name]Emme[/name]-line seems to be more popular. The biggest problem we have is people presuming her name is [name]Emily[/name], I have to be very careful how I pronounce it so not to get people to make this assumption.
