Bee!
I pronounce it bee but I agree bay-uh or bee-uh are much prettier!
I prefer [name_f]Bee[/name_f]-uh.
I’d pronounce it [name_f]Bee[/name_f].
I would say bee-uh or bee, depending on what context I have. If I know it’s short for [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] / [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], I’d say bee. If I’m not sure, I’d say bee-uh
Bee!
Bee, though I could certainly be corrected if someone preferred another pronunciation. It’s just what’s most familiar to me and so it’s what I default to.
I say [name_f]Bee[/name_f]-ah
I pronounce it “bee.”
I say bee-uh, but I know most pronounce it bee.
I’ve only ever heard it as [name_f]Bee[/name_f]. I didn’t know there were other pronunciations.
[name_f]My[/name_f] middle name is [name_f]Bea[/name_f] and I’ve only ever had people pronounce it as [name_f]Bee[/name_f]. Except my sister who says Bee-ah when she is mad at me.
For me, [name_f]Bea[/name_f] is pronounced [name_f]Bee[/name_f] when it is short for [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] because that’s a name I associate with Anglophones and [name_u]Bay[/name_u] a when it is short for [name_f]Beate[/name_f] because that’s a name I’ve only heard on Germans and that’s how it’s pronounced here.
I naturally say “bee”, but “bay-uh” makes sense.
I looks like bee-uh to me. But I’ve never heard it on anyone in real life
I automatically assume [name_f]Bee[/name_f] but I’m pleased so many people said bay-uh because my daughter is Cléa (clay-uh) and no one ever gets it right. But yeah, I like [name_f]Bee[/name_f] but love bay-uh.
I’ve always said [name_f]Bee[/name_f]
Bee! So cute.
bay-ah is very sweet, but I would definitely pronounce it as bee
I’d say [name_f]Bee[/name_f]-uh, but [name_u]Bay[/name_u]-a is nice too
