In [name_f]English[/name_f], I say eh-LAY-nah. In Spanish or most Romance languages, it’d be a mix between the ay and the e (like the e in tell) sounds for me. Not really el-LEN-ah but not really eh-LAY-nah either.

This is the Eastern European way to say it. [name_m]Just[/name_m] like [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f] is “LEN-ah” not “Leena.” It’s a gorgeous and very international name so with that comes multiple pronunciations but as a mother of a child with multiple pronunciations, don’t let it turn you off. It’s not as big of a deal as you might think.
