jah-nah ! the jee-ah-nuh pronouciation is very american
Yeah, I’m in [name_u]America[/name_u] and I always thought it was jee-ah-nuggets. But now I’m wondering if that’s wrong or is it okay if your in [name_u]America[/name_u]?
Lol autocorrect ^
Jee-ah-nuh *
Jee- ah- nuh
I’m also American…
In highschool there was a girl named this in one of my classes, pronounced G-anna
I would pronounce it jee-ah-na, especially in the US. That’s how the only one I’ve known said it (although she was distinctly not Italian) and it’s definitely the more common pronunciation in [name_u]America[/name_u].
Gee-on-uh
I say it “GEE-AHNA”!
jee ah nah !!
Jann-na (both As as in car)
Jee-ah-nuh would be my instinctive pronunciation but I know it should be more like jahn-uh
i say jah-nuh !
G-on-ah
I’m Canadian
Jee-ah-nuh
I say Jah-nah, but Jee-ah-nah also exists, though that is rather Americanised.
[name_f]My[/name_f] aunt almost used this name for her daughter and it would have been pronounced gee-ah-nuh
i’d pronounce it jee-A-nuh (with a short “a” in the middle)
This made me laugh! Gotta love autocorrect.
Jee-AW-nuh
Jee-ann-uh
