How do you pronounce it and which is best?

[name]Camilla[/name] ([name]Ca[/name]-MILL-a)
[name]Camila[/name] ([name]Ca[/name]-MEE-la)
[name]Camilla[/name] ([name]Ca[/name]-MEE-la)
[name]Camila[/name] ([name]Ca[/name]-MILL-a)

Which the right pronunciation of each spelling and which do you like best??

I say [name]Ca[/name]-[name]Milla[/name]-a for [name]Camilla[/name].
I might possibily say it for [name]Camila[/name] too but I haven’t really thought about it. I can see how [name]Camila[/name] with one “L” might be pronounced [name]Ca[/name]-Mee-la.

[name]Camila[/name] is the Spanish version of the name and pronounced with a long e sound – ca-MEEL-a – whereas [name]Camilla[/name] as in the wife of [name]Prince[/name] [name]Charles[/name] is pronounced ca-MILL-a. These are two variations of an ancient [name]Roman[/name] name so have the same root and meaning.

If I saw either spelling, I would say it as [name]Ca[/name]-mill-uh

I pronounce it [name]Ca[/name]-mil-luh. I have never come across the Spanish version. I don’t like the name either way.

I like [name]Camilla[/name], prn [name]Ca[/name]-MILL-uh.

I would pronounce either spelling as [name]Ca[/name]-MILL-uh, but vastly prefer the [name]Camilla[/name] spelling. [name]Camila[/name] just looks incomplete to me.

I like [name]Ca[/name]-mee-la, but I think [name]Camilla[/name] is supposed to me [name]Ca[/name]-milla, and [name]Kamilah[/name] is [name]Ca[/name]-mee-la.

[name]Camilla[/name] (English) = cuh-MILL-uh
[name]Camila[/name] (Spanish) = cuh-MEE-luh

I prefer the French [name]Camille[/name] myself but in your case, I would stick with the [name]Camilla[/name] spelling.

At first glance I pronounced both [name]Ca[/name]-Mill-Uh. But I suppose I can see [name]Camila[/name] being [name]Ca[/name]-Mee-la
In all honestly I had to squint to see the difference in spelling anyways, so I’m not sure if they really jump out as different.

[name]Camila[/name] - cah-meel-ah
[name]Camilla[/name] - cah-mill-ah

I like [name]Camilla[/name] the best.

I would pronounce them all Cah-mee-la. But thats what Im familiar with. I don’t think [name]Cam[/name]-mill-a is as popular of a pronunciation. But I have no facts to back that up. I Like [name]Cam[/name]-eee-la. Personally

I far prefer [name]Ca[/name]-MEE-luh and it’s actually on my baby name list as well, but I spelled it Camilah.

I say [name]Camilla[/name] as [name]Ca[/name]-MILL-a and [name]Camila[/name] as [name]Ca[/name]-MEE-la. Either way, I think it’s quite pretty (though I think of the lovely young actress [name]Camilla[/name] [name]Belle[/name] before I think of the wife of [name]Prince[/name] [name]Charles[/name]).
