This is not a name for anybody, its just a name that im curious about and just want to know your thoughts on it. I’ve seen that some people say “Li-e-na”, “La-na”, “Le-na”, etc. I’m wondering what the proper way to pronounce this name would be
I would pronounce it lee-EH-nah.
I pronounce it Lee-eh-na maybe it depends on languages. In Chinese is likely be Lian-na
I’d say it as ‘lee-en-uh’, like [name_f]Vienna[/name_f] or [name_f]Sienna[/name_f]
I’d say it Lee-eh-nuh l, like [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] with an L
[name_f]My[/name_f] initial thought was lye-nah or lee-en-uh
[name_u]Lee[/name_u] en ah
I’d say lee-nah or, less likely, lee-eh-nah.
lye-nah, 2 syllables!
lee-eh-na
LEE-na
I would say lee-EH-nah like [name_f]Siena[/name_f] with an L
I have a friend named Liena, and she pronounces it like Lee-en-uh.
Liena LEE. nuh
Lienna. [name_u]Lee[/name_u] EH nuh
But there’s also Siena also see-EN-a
I agree with majority, I would pronounce it lee-EN-a or LEE-en-a
that’s said, I think average Joe would pronounce it two instead of three syllable. We’re on nameberry after all.
i’m not sure what the ‘real’ pronunciation would be, but my first instinct is definitely lee-EN-uh (sort of like leanna). i could also easily see LEE-nuh and maybe even LYE-nuh as an option.
lee-enn-ahh. similar to sienna or vienna.
I’d pronounced it like [name_f]Vienna[/name_f] with an L.
