[name_m]Lew[/name_m]-EEE-Suh
or
Luh-WEE-Za?
Also if you wouldn’t mind your location, I realize there may be some international differences in pronounciation, but we’re considering this name and I like one pronunciation more than the other.

I say Luh-WEE-zuh, with more of a Z sound, but there’s a tiny bit of S too. I live in [name_f]England[/name_f].
I would say [name_m]Lew[/name_m] - ee - sa, I’m in [name_f]Scotland[/name_f]
I pronounce it the same, and I’m American, in NYC
I pronounce it with the Z sound, not S. I live in the UK.
I say [name_m]Lew[/name_m]-EE-zah. I’m from [name_f]Scotland[/name_f].
I say LOO-ee-sa but most in my area say LA-weez-ah. I’m in the southern US.
I’d say it more like [name_m]Lew[/name_m]-ee-za. I’m from the UK.
I say Luh-WEE-zuh. I’m in the US. I would say something closer to lu-EE-sah for the [name_f]Luisa[/name_f] spelling since that is the Spanish spelling/pronunciation.
I’m on the west coast of the US and I say it [name_m]Lew[/name_m]-EE-sah/[name_m]Lew[/name_m]-EEZ-sah and most people around me seem to say [name_m]Lew[/name_m]-EEZ-sah/[name_m]Lew[/name_m]-EEZ-ah.
[name_m]Lew[/name_m]-EE-s/zah, depending on where it is in the sentence. It’s neither a pure ‘ss’ sound nor a true ‘z’ (the s in [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] sounds like a true ‘z’ in my accent; in [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] and [name_f]Louise[/name_f], it’s much more towards an ‘s’, but it’s not all the way there). I’m in [name_m]Ontario[/name_m], [name_f]Canada[/name_f].
Same. But I’m from the US.
[name_m]Lew[/name_m]-ee-za. Australia.
loo-WEE-suh. That’s the only way I’ve heard it said. I’ve also never heard it with a Z sound, only a soft S. I’m from the Midwest US.
lew-EE-sah
I’d say lew-EE-zah/lew-EE-zuh depending on how much I’m enunciating!
I’m from South [name_m]Wales[/name_m], UK and I’d pronounce it with the Z sound.
Luh-ee-sa with the S sound. I’m from
Scandinavia though
[name_f]Louisa[/name_f] = Loo-WEESZ-uh, at least for me. The sound at the end of the second syllable is a combination of S & Z.
[name_f]Luisa[/name_f] = Loo-EESS-ah, again at least for me. I’ve never heard anyone say this name, so IDK if anyone else pronounces it the way I’ve always imagined it to be pronounced.
I’m in the northeastern US.
I pronounce it Loo-EE-zah. Almost no w sound and a very pronounced oo sound! I live in the US but grew up in Germany.
