Is it pronounced like [name]Melanie[/name] with an A on the end? Or muh-LAH-nee-ah? muh-[name]LANE[/name]-ee-ah?

The Trump with this name prns it to rhyme with [name]Tanya[/name], [name]Mel[/name] AHN ya. But I think mel-ah-nee-ah would be plausible.

I was about to mention her! I pronounce [name]Melania[/name] Meh-lah-nee-ah.

I hadn’t even thought of the Trumps, but that’s how I say it, too.

I think this is such a gorgeous name and so underused! I would say it more like muh-LAH-nee-ah but both are pretty :slight_smile:

I’ve only heard it once, but it was Meh-LAH-nee-ah. I think -lane- wouldn’t sound nice at all - way too American-mispronouncing-a-foreign-name.
