I would personally pronouce it Ee-vee, but as a nn for [name]Evelyn[/name] I could see using Eh-vee pronounciation

I knew an [name]Evie[/name] and she pronounced it Eh-vee. Not sure if it was short for something though…

I could see it going either way, since it can be a nn for so many names ([name]Evelyn[/name], [name]Eva[/name], [name]Evangeline[/name], [name]Genevieve[/name], etc). I voted ee-vee since that is what I would first think unless corrected.

There is a girl at my school named [name]Evie[/name]. It’s not her nickname, but her actual first name. She pronounces it Ee-vee, so that’s what I voted.

I had a close friend growing up who was [name]Evelyn[/name] and went by [name]Evie[/name], pronounced eh-vee. I prefer it this way. eev-ee reminds me of Pokemon.

I would also pronounce it Eh-vee. Mainly because, as another poster mentioned, ee-vee is all pokemon for me! :lol:

I prefer the ee-vee pronunciation but I’ve heard both.
