[name]How[/name] would you pronounce [name]Aliza[/name]?
A-lee-zuh or A-lee-sah (like [name]Lisa[/name] with an “a”) ?

[name]Ah[/name]-lie-za
I would say A-ly-zuh
My first thought was that it was pronounced like [name]Eliza[/name].
I have never seen this but if I saw it, I would automatically think [name]Ah[/name]-Lie-zah. Same as [name]Eliza[/name].
It’s popular in [name]Israel[/name] and there I believe they pronounce it “ah-[name]LEE[/name]-zah”. It was the name of the wife of late Israeli Prime Minister [name]Menachem[/name] Begin and means “joyful” in Hebrew. I must admit that I prefer “ah-LIE-zah” myself.
Id say ah-LIE-zah
I didn’t consider [name]Ah[/name]-lie-zah. I’m torn between liking [name]Ah[/name]-lee-zah v [name]Ah[/name]-lie-zah. Thanks everyone!
Uh-LIE-zuh
[name]Eliza[/name] would be more like Eh-LIE-zuh
I think you’ll need to use an S if you want the LEASE sound.
